  • Since 2015, BNP Paribas Wealth Management has a competence center in Lisbon (PIMH = Portugal International Markets Hub) to manage activities for several locations (France, Switzerland, Luxemburg, Germany, Monaco)
  • The Wealth Management Investment Services Transversal team is looking to expand and it will do so in Portugal. This is a very interesting opportunity to join the growing PIMH family as a controller in close connexion with Wealth Management Paris team

Your Main Activities Are

  • Work closely with the Head Office (HO) Investment Services Operation Permanent Control (OPC) officer in his main tasks, covering controls of HO Investment Services teams
    • You will conduct controls in the WM Investment Services department. For this purpose, you will interview product specialists and document the controls performed. You will also define remediation plan if needed and follow the actions
    • In order to ensure a robust Risk management set up, you will define the Controls framework and controls definition with WM asset classes sponsors, the yearly Investment Services control plan. As part of the risk monitoring, you will contribute to the Activity mapping (Risk Control Self-Assessment), creation and update of Potential Incident (PI)/Historical Incident (HI)
    • As part of your mission, you will feed appropriate control result, Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), in the 360 tool (training is included in the mission)
    • You will also contribute to the elaboration and update of HO Investment Services Procedures, with a specific focus in 2024 on Anti Bribery and Corruption (ABC) set up

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor degree in Audit, Business management, Management Controls or Finance
  • Strong knowledge in Controls, Audit, Inspection or Organisation 
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong analysis capacity, rigor and accuracy, dynamism, autonomy (as manager will be located in Paris), organization and responsibility
  • Capacity to commit to deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal working relationships and team spirit (follow-up / feedback)
  • Able to adapt to a fast pace and multi-cultural environment
  • Knowledge in Financial instrument will be appreciated
  • Use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, among others)
