Your Main Activities Are

  • Deliver an harmonized onboarding and off boarding process for external staff across different scopes, contribute to reduce the security and compliance risk by identifying and reporting risk situations on the processes, and contribute to data quality control and follow-up (requesting corrections in case of anomalies)
  • Process direct expenses and external staff invoicing management, perform the payment follow-up, produce KPIs and dashboards, execute monthly accruals reporting to Finance of external staff and centralize all data to perform more accurate accruals of external staff
  • Produce reports at entity level and for a variety of stakeholders and internal departments, contribute to reduce current and future operational risk and workload on management and centralize all data to perform accurate reporting
  • Contribute to the results of the Management Support team by taking the initiative in daily tasks, anticipating them in order to have them completed before deadlines, facilitating cooperation and interactions whilst acknowledging the benefit of different viewpoints and ways of working
  • Identify and correct issues or errors, escalating in case of any exceptional or irregular situation as well as raise alerts when needed and as soon as possible to allow the proper management of the situation at hand and to ensure a high level of service of the Management Support team

Profile and Skills to Success

ABOUT THE TEAM (Prime Services Risk Team)

Prime Services, as part of the Global Equities business line primarily focuses on providing financing, clearing and other auxiliary services to its clients in the alternative asset management/Hedge Fund sector; thereby enabling those clients to pursue their investment strategies and objectives.

The Risk Management team manages the portfolio risk for the business and the amount of leverage that we can offer clients. The team works in close collaboration with other functions within the business (such as sales, securities lending, client management) and with transversal teams such as Credit Risk Management and Exposure Management Group. The team in Lisbon will support the desk in effectively managing the client financing risk for the business. Specific responsibilities are listed below.

WHAT’S YOUR ROLE?

  • Assess, monitor and review portfolio risk; look for changes in strategies/asset mix in client portfolios and assess whether the margining methodology needs to be updated/modified to capture risk and pricing.
  • Assist in margin and pricing proposals for existing/new clients.
  • Automation tools for risk monitoring; analysing internal and external client performance metrics across various dimensions; manage/execute adhoc projects for the desks.
  • Generate accurate risk summaries at position/client account/regional and global level for risk monitoring.
  • Analyse major swings in client portfolio and escalate them to management.
  • Assessment of cost and value of client portfolios and securities.
  • Back testing client portfolios and platform inventory for stability of internalization.
  • Scenario analysis to analyse the impact of changes in client portfolios, cost of funding, business mix, interest rates and currency mix.

  • The Credit Operations Manager mission is to manage all the Credit Operations activity in Portugal in the most efficient way, closely liasing with all the other onshore credit teams and assuring a perfect alignment between all in all the credit chain

Your Main Activities Are

  • Manage and supervise Team Managers, solve escalated issues and report incidents. Additionally, define together with them the necessary support for daily activities, validating resource allocation and training according to the activity evolution

  • The Cash Management Solutions Implementation Manager’s mission is to guarantee the delivery of Cash Management services to an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring E2E accountability for advisory, implementation, maintenance and support while protecting the interests of the client and the bank

  • The Mission of the Project Management Officer is to perform Project Portfolio Management Office tasks, support management and project managers in consolidating, reporting and controlling key project portfolio information. The PMO fulfils a variety of functions on a day-to-day basis, including the gathering data about project progress and producing reports, developing PM standards and processes and encouraging (or enforcing where necessary) the use of those standards and processes

Your Main Activities Are

  • Design, implement and run the appropriate framework to manage a portfolio of projects
  • Verify project tracking, control and reporting: monitor the management of risks, issues, dependencies, actions, tracking budget, change control and regular reporting
  • Provide materials, input and facilitate governance, dealing with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation from project team members to senior sponsors or internal communication teams
  • Provide project support to selected projects, including aspects such as set up of the project governance, project launch, RAID management, ensuring that the methodology is followed appropriately for the project, preparation of SteerCo materials and minutes, management of project gate approvals and closure
  • Facilitate capacity planning across a portfolio of projects; provide support where needed and communicate resource allocation challenges
