About the job

  • P&L teams, as part of the Global Markets Product Control, provides a full and dedicated support to the various Global Market Trading Desks located in Paris, London, New York or Singapore
  • The P&L Controller will be in charge of producing and validating the daily Economical P&L and related P&L Explains. It will be required to establish effective working relationships with both Front Office and other areas of support (e.g. Back Office, Market Risk & IT). This will allow for an integrated and proactive approach to the business’ requirements

Your Main Activities Are

  • Produce and Validate the official Economical P&L figures and the related P&L explains (market move, new deals, etc) and investigate the discrepancies with the Front Office Predict when available
  • Review the P&L Explain in depth and correct wrong effect if no technical solution can be found to overturn the misallocation
  • Review the Risk based market P&L and analyse differences against the P&L Explain until the gap is understood and documented
  • Submit the P&L for Signoff to the Traders
  • Review the split of the economic PNL in liquidity and rate effects for ALMT perimeters
  • Produce Hedge accounting controls for finance and FO where applicable
  • When possible, challenge and enhance existing processes
  • Ensure high levels of ethics and professionalism are maintained both personally and in the team
  • Build and maintain internal relationships based on trust, respect and professionalism

  • The Exotic Trade Support is the first level of control with a strong operational risk and management approach. These Operations are controlled by a Global Team spread within the main financial hubs such as Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Lisbon. However, Primary is mainly responsible for all Exotic European Trades

Your Main Activities Are

Notre équipe est composée de 13 Chargés de Gestion de contrat, 1 Relais Fonctionnel, 1 Responsable d’équipe et 1 Manager.

Nous opérons à Lisbonne depuis le mois de Juin 2022.

Nous sommes en charge de la gestion de contrats d’Assurance Vie et Retraite, de nos partenaires de BNP Paribas Cardif, travaillant au sein de la BU «AEP» (Assurance Épargne Pension).

Notre objectif est d’assurer une gestion opérationnelle optimale, dans l’application et le respect des procédures et des règles en place, notamment en appliquant un contrôle de premier niveau, en visant toujours la satisfaction de nos partenaires et de nos clients dans un esprit d’amélioration continue.

Votre future mission au sein de l’équipe AEP

  • Vos atouts en tant que nouvelle/nouveau Responsable d’équipe

Na prática, o teu dia-a-dia

Como Controller, no departamento de Controlo de Gestão da Direção Financeira, as tuas principais responsabilidades e desafios passarão por: 

• Participar na realização da previsão dos resultados a curto e médio prazo; 

• Produzir e disponibilizar KPI’s de gestão relevantes para o planeamento estratégico do Banco;

• Elaborar e acompanhar Contas de Resultados específicas para os principais parceiros comerciais

• Participar na elaboração de Business Cases ou Business Plans relativos à implementação de projetos transversais do Banco e novas parcerias e/ou renegociação das existentes;

• Assegurar a preparação de elementos e o follow-up do processo de fecho contabilístico mensal;

• Desenvolver análises de dados financeiros e de gestão da atividade, a par com análises na vertente de contabilidade analítica e de contas de exploração por segmento de atividade;

• Suporte à tomada de decisão;

About the job

  • Acknowledge and follow up all requests from clients, either for relief at source or reclaim purpose, create and prepare fiscal documentation whenever enhanced offer is in place for such clients and perform the necessary validations on the system and if applicable, communicate it to our custodian network. Assure that clients receive their payments or reclaim refunds according to the eligible market rules and their instructions

  • Validate tax documentation provided by clients according to each market rule
  • Control and assure correct taxation is applied on income payments

About the job

  • The Account Life Cycle Officer mission is to be one of the five Single Point of Contacts of the End to End Coordinator for Client On-boarding. Additionally, is the pivot between the involved teams in accounts opening, the client and the End to End Coordinator for Client On-boarding (new client, service extension, fund creation, offboarding, in some case third party AM), upon End to End Coordinator request. Also, perform the “business as usual”, which is additional account opening for an existing LCN and existing products, upon Client request
Your Main Activities Are
  • Initiate the Life Cycle process for opening, modification and closure, while ensuring the identification of services required by the client and that will impact the accounts and the related tools. Verify the KYC requirements concerning the opening’s account and any blocking point could be coordinated with the SPOC in charge of KYC process. Prepares and updates as necessary a checklist to collect a detailed documentation with the client
  • Manage the Life Cycle process for opening, modification and closure, by collecting the AOF (Account Opening form) and ensureing it has been properly completed; completing the ASF (Account Setup form) and any specific forms potentially required by specific teams; launching the Account Management Process in the dedicated tool; follow-up the workflow to identify any risk of blocking point that could influence the respect of the SLA contract as signed with the client; coordinate the actions between the different teams to issue the workflow until its ended point; and collecting the confirmation of that the setups are correctly done, especially for sensitive settings
  • Send to End to End Coordinator or client the confirmation of opening/modification of setup done and uring all the process (on boarding or BAU), take care to influence the progression in a positive way and reduce the negative impacts for all stakeholders, helping them to understand the aim and how to provide the best service. Addionally, compile the knowledge of the tools/products/the teams

ABOUT THE JOB

MISSION

As a Data Scientist you will use data and ML models to improve our interactions with our customers. As part of this, you will : 

  • Collect data (internal & external) and investigate their business value through data analysis.
  • Run python-based analytical engines (direct marketing, inbound marketing, web navigation) to build or run existing models.
  • Use Statistical methodologies (such as clustering) to give better insights of our customer database.

You will report hierarchically to the Team Leader. The marketing side of the Hub has three mid-sized teams (Data Scientists, Data Analysts and Python developers), working together on complex challenges.

The team is recent, agile, and everyone is growing together. More than 20 colleagues are working in the same field as you, sharing ideas and experiences, and you will be able to share your insights with the central teams in Paris.

REQUIREMENTS

·       A degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field

·       Strong programming skills in Python

·       Practical knowledge in data analysis, applied mathematics, and statistics
