About the job

  • The Steering Officer helps the CIB IT Steering Governance and Architecture Cluster (with a Switzerland IT focus initially) with the design and documentation of processes, in accordance with BNP Paribas’ CIB ITO governance. He/she helps to deploy in Switzerland these processes by providing support and advice, and ensures they are complied with within the different IT structures. He/she helps to develop these processes by setting up a system of continuous improvements.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Act as a stakeholder in building or aligning the reference framework for IT CH processes with a particular emphasis into Project Life Cycle related process

  • Operationally deploy Group-level IT processes within the entity he/she supervises (in alignment with CIB/IT CH deployment plan

  • Implement the standards and rules of Project Life Cycle (PLC) governance defined by CIB, in an adapted, operational and efficient operational process

  • Define and maintain local documentation of Project governance (templates and guidelines references, Project’s key PLC milestones output documentation storage…)
  • Support the IT department’s project managers in their implementation of project governance (coaching, regular training)
  • Consolidate, analyze and report the IT entity’s project portfolio to the local CIO
