Within BNP Paribas, Credit Analysis plays a fundamental role in the selection of the bank’s assets, contributing to the sustainability of the business model. This is critical in reaching the right credit decisions, bringing added value to the business as well as strongly monitoring risks.
As a member of this team, one is able to get acquainted with the basic concepts of corporate banking, banking products and credit process, being in connection with several business lines of the bank, front officers and Risk.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Collecting and monitoring key information on clients (annual reports, financial statements, web site information) and requesting/analysing internal inputs (memos,..)
  • Liaising with commercial department to gain in-depth knowledge of client environment, strategy, management, resources and financials
  • Analyzing and summarizing counterparty and credit risk on clients and prospects
  • Completing Credit Proposals compliant with guidelines, quality standards and policies
  • Participating in the continuous improvement of credit process efficiency
  • Ensuring the follow-up of client exposure and monitoring global credit risks by alerting on any change in ratings, any major event or material evolution
  • Monitoring of clients covenants, strategy implementation and risk profile
  • Maintaining portfolio reports and using proactively the internal credit tools

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Degree in Finance and/or Economics and/or Accounting with a strong knowledge of financial analysis 
    under several standards (IFRS, local GAAP)
  • Perfect fluency in English
  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • Flexible and eager to improve his/her own performance
  • Team spirit, ability to work with others
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Business minded with an acute sense of risk
  • Ability to build its own opinion on a file and to convince
