  • The Documentation Matching Analyst is responsible for checking the integrity and accuracy of the booking and help managing the subsequent risks undertaken by the business lines
  • The Matching teams’ primary function is to support the Trading and Sales desks through the matching of electronic and paper confirmations on a variety of products (vanilla, exotics, complex structures) and asset classes (Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Credit and Interest Rates Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, precious metals and other commodities)
  • The Matching teams perform a critical control role in the timely reconciliation of bookings with clients’ confirmations. Your Main Activities Are

  • Check Front Office (FO) booking to ensure all trades are captured in the systems and that the details are in line with documentations received from clients. Verify and match legal confirmations (electronic and/or physical) according to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) definitions, approved confirmation templates and other relevant industry recommendations and best practices
  • Ensure a correct archival of all incoming confirmations and monitor workflows to ensure incoming confirmations are prioritised accordingly and ensure timely matching of confirmations. Identify and solve financial and/or legal discrepancies on incoming confirmations
  • Resolve queries and exceptions where necessary, understanding the importance of effective escalation
  • Timely resolve mark-ups on outstanding trade confirmations

  • The Settlement Claims Officer mission is to ensure the integrity and the exhaustiveness of detection, payment and receipt of interest that are a result of late settlements under BNP Paribas Arbitrage and BNP Paribas SA.   • The User Onboarding Management Officer´s main mission is to build and manage an efficient Employee Onboarding, Transfer and Exit process in Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA) region. About the job

  • The Settlement Officer mission is to work within the Securities Settlement Department and perform the main processes which include pre and post settlement activities, clearing, custody, maintain relevant legal documentation, transaction and event-related accounting for securities deemed in scope
      

Your Main Activities Are

  • Monitor and ensure settlement of security transactions and associated products
  • Perform cash and position reconciliation within internal systems and local custodians
  • Ensure referential data is up-to-date with the responsible teams.
  • Respond to emails and queries in a proper and timely manner.
     

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial Operations

About the job

  • The FTP (Flow Trade Process) Analyst manages First level of Trading Control, being highly driven to mitigate operational risk with an important know how of the chain. The role deals with several different products with massive amounts of data at once, while interacting with external Brokers, Counter parties and Clearing Systems. There is less deep analysis of the product per se, but an increased interaction with the overall chain until settlement. This role requires a deep understanding of the chain from Front to Back and it is important to be able to organize this data in an efficient way
     

Your Main Activities Are

  • Ensure that all Trades booked by Front-Office (FO) in all systems (front-office and operations) are in line with the broker/external confirmations, sales confirmations or electronic platforms
  • Ensure that all Electronic Trades booked in each portfolio match the trades sent by custodians or broker on Trade-Date plus one (TD+1) 
  • Ensure that all give-up trades/early exercise requests are correctly processed by our clearers on the different markets on TD itself
  • Guarantee the market trade integrity and reduction of operational risk throughout the entire trade chain

About the job

  • The Settlement Processing Analyst works within the Securities Transaction Management Department and is responsible for the processing of the main processes which include pre and post settlement activities, clearing, relevant legal documentation, transaction and event-related accounting for securities deemed in scope. In the scope of these activities, the Officer interacts with several internal departments, external counter parties and entities
      

Your Main Activities Are

  • Responsible for the settlement of client transactions on a timely and cost effective basis, monitoring, analysing and processing client’s instruction data
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the market requirements, internal processes and tools
  • Ensure market information databases and internal procedures are known and updated
  • Ensure that the checklist’s tasks are duly executed, in line with internal procedures and market rules and/or guidelines therefore mitigating settlement costs and operational risk
  • Communicate effectively with Client Facing team and provide support on the daily activities, ensuring a close follow-up on any pending investigation.
  • Contribute to the overall successful running of the Settlement Department whilst respecting BNP Paribas rules and guidelines in terms of Compliance, Risk and Conduct.
