About The Team

  • We are looking for a mid- to senior‑level kdb developer whose primary mission is to maintain, evolve, and steward our existing data platform
  • The successful applicant will be a core member of the Analytics  KDB   team. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance KDB+/q applications that ingest, transform, store and serve the full set of electronic‑equities market data used across the firm. You will work on production‑grade systems, partner closely with both business users (traders, quants, analysts) and IT stakeholders (data‑engineering, security, infrastructure) and help deliver the low‑latency data foundation that powers real‑time and historical analytics for Cash Equities.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand and refine the requirements
  • Design, code, test and deploy KDB+/q services for enriching raw data with various metrics and presenting in the most impactful fashion
  • Profile and tune KDB queries, identify bottlenecks in data retrieval or pipeline stages
  • Participate in on‑call rotation; resolve production incidents and perform root‑cause analysis
  • Contribute to automated unit, integration and performance tests and CI pipelines
  • Implement schema‑validation and outlier‑detection checks.
  • Document code, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain a comprehensive record of development activities
  • Develop business‑focused dashboards using Tableau or Python (Plotly/Streamlit) , or via official analytics pipelines
  • Provide self‑service visual tools for analysts to explore equities data without writing code.

  • The Cash Investigations Team Leader will manage team resources while supervising responsibilities handled by the team to guarantee the smooth functioning of the activity.   • The Compliance Function is an independent and integrated function of BNP Paribas Group.   • The Corporate Trust Operations Officer’s main mission is to be responsible for analysing and integrating missing data in the systems, performing the consequent controls according to the procedures in place whilst ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met

About The Team

  • We are looking for a mid- to senior‑level Data Architect & Tooling Specialist whose primary mission is to maintain, evolve, and steward our existing data platform.  
  • Ideally that would be a hands‑on architect who will design, implement, and operate the tooling ecosystem that guarantees the reliability, observability, and compliance of our data platform. The role is heavily weighted toward metadata management, data‑quality frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and governance dashboards. 
  • Your success will be measured by number of data‑quality incidents, the clarity and completeness of our data catalog, the robustness of governance processes, the adoption of data‑quality and self-service tools, and the overall transparency of data flows to business users.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Metadata & Semantic Layer: Develop and maintain the data product catalog, lineage, and metadata standards
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve a centralized metadata repository
  • Define and enforce semantic models (business vocabularies, canonical data entities, logical data contracts) that translate raw tables into understandable business objects
  • Maintain lineage graphs that are automatically refreshed on each pipeline run
  • Coordinate efforts with wider bank initiatives related to metadata

About The Team

  • The QIS (Quantitative Investment Strategies) structuring team is responsible for creating, managing, and promoting a wide range of systematic indices (across all asset classes, with over 2000 indices). The team, consists of around thirty people based in Paris and London, including 6 senior structurers in charge of Equities, Options, Credit Rates & FX, Multi Asset, Commodities, and a Transversal division.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Collaborate on production tasks related to the Flex index activity
  • Launch new Flex products, in relation with the Sales and our Clients
  • Launch and manage new Flex products, working closely with the Sales teams and Clients to meet market demands and customer needs
  • Contribute to the development of internal team tools, including performance analysis, simplified data access, activity monitoring, and automation of common tasks. These tools, developed in Java, are deployed to around fifty Front-Office personnel globally, making their quality and availability critical
  • Create and implement custom reports
  • Assist in the analysis and design of permanent solutions for recurring issues on our platforms, collaborating with Support and IT teams to enhance overall system performance and reliability.

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Academic background in Engineering and/or Financial Mathematics 
  • Proven initial experience in a “trading floor” environment
  • Exceptional project-mode analytical skills, including the ability to investigate, understand, design solutions, and deliver results effectively
  • Experience and genuine interest in programming (knowledge of Java is a plus but not a prerequisite)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Autonomy and ability/ composure to work well under tight deadlines and high-stress situations.

  • Within Procurement & Performance (P&P), you will join the P&P – Professional Services Team. As a Trainee Buyer in the P&P – Professional Services Team, your mission is to operate on the internal clients’ behalf, the buying of goods and services, ensuring the respect of regulation and BNP Paribas’ standards, applying category sourcing strategy and achieving savings target

VOTRE FUTURE MISSION AU SEIN DE L’EQUIPE DE SÉCURITÉ FINANCIÈRE

En tant qu’Analyste de Sécurité Financière, vous serez responsable de:
  

  • Prendre en charge la gestion complète des alertes automatiques ou manuelles sur le domaine AML-FT et Sanctions-PEP via les outils dédiés, dans le respect des procédures et processus existants ainsi que dans le respect des délais règlementaires 
  • Assurer en toute autonomie l’analyse complète de niveau 2 via les outils dédiés, des alertes AML-FT et Sanctions-PEP escaladées par les analystes de sécurité financière de niveau 1 ou par les équipes opérationnelles, selon les règles de délégation financière et les procédures établies 
  • Prendre en charge la rédaction de rapports d’analyse ou de propositions de déclarations de soupçons dans le respect des délais règlementaires et procédures 
  • Prendre en charge et assurer en toute autonomie l’analyse complète de niveau 2 via les outils dédiés des dossiers KYC escaladés par le niveau 1, dans le respect des délégations et procédures existantes 
  • Alerter la hiérarchie en cas de détection d’une anomalie administrative, d’un risque opérationnel ou d’un dysfonctionnement qui pourrait affecter la qualité du service fourni au client interne comme au client final 
  • Contribuer à la mise à jour ou à l’amélioration des processus et procédures sur son périmètre (AML-FT, Sanctions-PEP, KYC de niveau 2) ;
  • Assurer une attitude responsable, mature et professionnelle, via une bonne gestion du temps, des priorités et des risques, dans le respect des collègues et de la hiérarchie

  • D’excellentes capacités organisationnelles et de solides compétences analytiques,

  • Atuar como a “voz do negócio” na Squad/Tribo, compreendendo objetivos do produto e necessidades dos stakeholders e traduzindo‑os em outcomes e critérios de sucesso mensuráveis. 
  • Analisar e identificar oportunidades de conversão e de transformação nas jornadas de dados (Data LifeCycle), propondo melhorias de processo, dados e produto. 
  • Desenhar e executar UAT com rigor, alinhado com critérios de aceitação; registar e reportar bugs, erros ou inconsistências detetados. 
  • Coescrever a componente de negócio das user stories, assegurando que as necessidades da área que é expert (Operações, Marketing, Risco ou Financeira) estão refletidas no backlog.
