  • Within Portugal International Markets Hub (PIMH) Operational and Permanent Controls (OPC) Corporate team, the Analyst will provide essential support to enhance the monitoring of Operational Risk Management Framework and actively participate in the OPC Community to enhance operational practices and efficiency

Your Main Activities Are

  • Implementation of the Group policy related to Operational Permanent Control Framework within the Business line Wealth Management
  • In the hierarchical line to Head of PIMH OPC, in hierarchical line to Head of Wealth Management (WM) PIMH and in functional line to Chief Conduct and Control Officer (CCCO), located in Paris, the Senior OPC Corporate Officer is responsible to ensure the efficacy of the First Line of Defence (1LoD), which span of responsibilities covers: Permanent Control set-up and maintenance; Management of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) related Processes; Dynamic management of the Operational Risk Management; Management support and governance; Follow-up of findings, recommendations and Metier-to-implement Permanent Control actions; Coordinate requests and/or actions raised by the Group, Functions, Internal Governance (IG), among others; Awareness, training and advisory
  • Update the 1LoD Control Plan, in line with the Group’s and/ or the Second Line of Defence (2LoD) Generic Control Plans
  • Coordinate the roll-out of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, including the risk identification and the design of controls (Key Surveillance Points (KSPs))
  • Contribute to the Procedures Management, review/update the operations-sponsored policies and procedures, in adequacy with the Group’s norms/requirements, the Metier’s guidelines and/or applicable regulations; and coordinate/manage “Procedures committees” and community
  • Coordinate the delivery/disseminate the 1LoD Control Plan, Metier’s policies, procedures and KSPs to the OPC Community
  • Propose and monitor mitigation actions relating to gaps/anomalies highlighted by performed controls
  • Ensure periodic and ad-hoc reporting to the appropriate level of management as well as to 2LoD
  • Collect and analyse the Operational Risk incidents (Historical Incidents (HI))
  • Collect and analyse potential incidents identified by local OPCs and ensure the implementation of relevant remediation plans defined at local level
  • Track to completion and report on findings, recommendations and Permanent Control actions
  • Participate to any meetings or Committees subject to tackle operational risks and contribute to the local Internal Control Committees
  • Ensure and/or help in building appropriate training on Operational risks and Permanent Control framework is provided to WM employees in Head Office (HO) and entities

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economy, Finance, Banking or Risk Management
  • At least 5 years of Experience in Permanent Control, Compliance, Audit or Risk Management
  • Relevant Experience on Financial Services or Private Banking Industry
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and processing systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Pack (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Fluency in English
  • Capacity for analysis and synthesis with rigor delivering quickly and frequently

  • The Referential team is part of Transversal Assets and Information Technology Transversal and Functions (ITTF) organization. The team offers Finance, Risk and Huma Resources “Master Data” solutions across the group, covering structures, nomenclature and dictionary solutions
  • Data Quality is the key driver of the team to ensure trustful usage of the data within our systems and the team is organized spread over different domains listed below
  • Third Parties, for Finance & Risk third-parties referential

  • The Information Technology (IT) Business Analyst will work on this new product focused on the evolution of third-party data ecosystems, aiming to streamline the integration of new data and technologies (such as data virtualization, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), etc.) and enhance the accessibility and real-time availability of data across systems
  • This Business Analyst acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring business needs are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into clear functional requirements. The role involves gathering information from multiple sources, understanding business processes and data requirements, and supporting the implementation of solutions. The Business Analyst works closely with developers to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, validate solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Additionally, the role plays a key part in testing activities by preparing test scenarios and test cases, coordinating and supporting Functional Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing defect tracking, and assisting end users throughout the validation process to ensure successful deployment and adoption of the solution
  • The global aim of the project is to ensure high data quality and consistency across various REFERENTIALS data sources, reducing discrepancies in reporting and closing figures. This will be achieved by performing a deep analysis of existing data and sources and transforming the processes and technologies used, including the existing REFERENTIALS. The goal is to streamline workflows, improving time-to-market and enabling faster, more accurate insights for better decision-making
  • The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of a requirement, from initial specification to final delivery for the end user
  • Working primarily in an Agile environment, the Business Analyst will drive iterations, manage backlogs, and ensure that software meets both technical and business standards through rigorous testing
  • The Business Analyst will act as the critical bridge between business units (such as Sales, Marketing, and Finance) and IT/Development teams, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications

Your Main Activities Are

  • Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed Business Requirements. Translate high-level needs into functional and technical specifications, including User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Process Maps
  • Analyze current (“As-Is”) business processes and design improved, efficient future-state (“To-Be”) workflows. Identify bottlenecks, gaps, and opportunities for automation or digital transformation using modeling tools (e.g., BPMN, UML)

  •  Lead UAT by defining test scenarios and guiding business users through the validation process to ensure successful deployment and adoption 
  • Utilize data analysis to validate business assumptions, monitor data quality, and create reports/dashboards to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the success of implemented solutions

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Management
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or a similar role
  • Professional experience in Referential administration (data management, database)
  • Deep expertise in Agile frameworks, including sprint management, backlog refinement, and MVP prioritization
  • Advanced knowledge of IST (Integration), UAT, and regression testing
  • Proficiency in ALM Octane (for testing and traceability), Jira (for task and backlog management), and documentation tools like Confluence

  • Information Technology Transversal & Functions (ITTF) is a new IT framework encompassing the Projects & Systems of the Finance and RISK functions, with a strong focus on efficiency, proximity, agility, and time-to-market. ITTF is a new worldwide organizational model that will contribute to tackling the major challenges of the Group’s transformation, both today and tomorrow, building the best offering for the Finance and Risk community through a progressive rotation to new technologies and best practices. The ITTF organization is the outcome of several convergences: between the Project & Systems teams of Group Finance, Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB), Finance, and RISK, and their related IT teams

  • The Data Office team is part of the Data & Digital perimeter in Portugal, within COO scope, functionally reporting to the central CIB Data Office team in France
  • Within CIB Data Office department, you will report to the Data Project Office manager. The role of the team is to support development plans around the valuation of data, relying on a coherent and coordinated setup within Businesses, Functions and Regions (EMEA, Asia, the Americas). Additionally, team is divided into 5 domains (Transversal Project, Governance, Risk/Finance, ESG and TP/KYC)

Your Main Activities Are

  • Set up Data Governance framework for TP (Third Party) / KYC FS (Financial Security) critical Data
  • Define data governance guiding rules, controls and tools, shared dictionary definition, data lineage in line with Group requirements

The Cash Equities Onboarding Analyst role is to perform the BAU (business as usual) end to end onboarding of Cash Equity clients and following up with the various stakeholders involved in the process to ensure a smooth and timely client experience
