- The Application Production Support mission is to provide technical and functional support to users of the banks several applications. Usually this position consists in support to user’s requests; incident, problem and change management; coordination with other levels of support (ADM, Production, others). In addition, it will be required to provide feedback to user and communicate on issue resolution

- The Operational and Permanent Control Senior Analyst’s mission is to operate the Control framework relating to all operational risks, including Fraud, Third Party, Conduct, Compliance, Regulatory, Information & Communication Technology risks, and others risks types
- The Operational and Permanent Control Senior Analyst is responsible for the deployment of internal policies and procedures issued by specialized independent control functions part of Risk teams (2nd Line of Defence), and for the compliance with external regulatory and supervisory requirements
Your Main Activities Are
- Identify and assess risks and controls (Risk and Control Self-Assessment) of higher complexity, by ensuring that key operational units and processes, material risks and risk mitigants are identified. Perform/drive the risk identification and assessment in liaison with independent control Functions when needed, ensuring validation by the relevant management level and consistency with the defined risk tolerance. Contribute to the definition and follow-up of remediation plan if needed
- Manage Procedures by ensuring that Group procedures requirements are implemented locally, complemented with local specificities (regulations, tools, organizations …). Ensure that the procedures designed by the businesses and functions are identified, updated, properly stored and communicated to the relevant stakeholders within the Operating Entity. Identify and propose calibration of procedures according to the outcome of the risk assessment and other risk events (HI, control results, external events, Audit missions)
- Implement Complex and elaborated controls and action plans: by defining and regularly updating the control plans according to the outcome of the risk assessment, regulations, other risk events (Historical Incidents, control results, external events, Audits). Perform and/or coordinate controls according to this control plan. Ensure that control results are reviewed and analysed by the Management and when relevant by operational teams / relevant stakeholders and that remediation action plans are defined if and when needed. Input in Group tools the control results and major action plans. Follow-up the implementation of high-complexity remediation actions
- Document findings, recommendations and permanent control actions: Upon notification/receipt of reports, organise the follow-up of the findings and recommendations on more complex and difficult situations, either issued internally (e.g. IG supervision) or externally (external auditors, supervisors) and ensure that they are closed within due date
- Manage historical incidents with a higher complexity nature, by alerting the management and the independent control functions if needed on key incidents. Collect incidents (including impacts measurement), report and update in the incidents database, including suspected and attempted fraud cases. Analyse complex and difficult incidents in a timely manner and define, jointly with the relevant stakeholders, the correctives measures be implemented to mitigate risks. Follow-up and /or initiate the implementation of elaborated remediation actions and the unfolding of long term incidents. Perform controls on the incident collection process, in particular the cross-check with other databases (accounting or other when existing) and the half-yearly attestation by the local management.

Become our new Management Controller based in Porto
Within our International Management Reporting (IMR) team, you will contribute directly to the day-to-day management of various tasks with multiple interlocutors within the Financial Production and Financial Control and Performance departments. - The Finance Capital Markets Products Specialist mission is to measure, control and explain the financial reporting of the Region’s entities, covering a large part of BNP Paribas Business Lines, which encompasses research, structuring, trading and sales of equity, index and fund derivatives. Within the EMEA Finance organization, is also responsible for ensuring an accurate, reliable and comprehensive set of segmented financial data required for the production of all Reporting streams in relation with Capital Markets Business Lines
Your Main Activities Are
- Develop an experience on the specific scope of products, process and activity to become the referent for the entire Finance department; Work under the tutorial of a manager of the SMS CMP team as well as the Project and Data Analyst team to provide a technical expertise to analyse impact of project or TAC/NAC, help in designing solutions and contribute to user-testing definition, organisation and testing campaign
- Daily dialogue with managers (including CFO and EMEA Production teams) to supervise the day-to-day main operational matters, understand the difficulties, provide innovative out-of-the-box solutions
- Supports on time deliveries and consistent quality EMEA CMP financial reporting outputs, actively collaborating on a day-to-day production and processes
- Perform as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all CMP related matters
- Supports implementation of Global Finance initiatives
- Contribute ad-hoc to TAC/NAC impacting the CMP scope in the same spirit than for project, having a proactive approach with the central S&C team
- Participate to the review FACT certificates and Control Book together with Accounting Controls team
- Support and participate in projects impacting the CMP as well as any other Finance initiative
- Provide concise and clear alert to the hierarchy and senior management in case of material difficult or slippage in the implementation of projects
- Provide continuous support to other team members, including coaching and training
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance and/or Accounting
- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting and/or finance
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Pack Microsoft Excel
- Financial and Performance Analysis skills
- Fluent in English, verbal and written

About the job
- You will join the Strategy & Cost Monitoring team whose mandate is to support the Head of Operation designing and maintaining his global strategy and associated roadmap throughout the organization; monitor the effective implementation of key initiatives on the platform; through the implementation and oversight of relevant governance; and Advise project or program managers while being hands on financial pilotage for transversal strategic projects such as the Client Operating Center of Excellence program
- You will be integrated in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment, very transversal in nature, which will provide a broad exposure to Operations of the bank worldwide
Your Main Activities Are
- Help defining and drive the Head of Operations agenda in line with priorities defined
- Coordination and preparation of committees and meetings such as GM ExCos and future Ops ExCos
- Governance and management of the strategic project portfolio
- Analysis of financial data in coordination with the Finance Performance Management teams
- Support the budget process, ensuring targets are respected; contribute to budget presentations
- Organize and/or prepare Project and Steering Committees, including documentation for the Head of Operations
- Attend key meetings, prepare meeting notes and ensure distribution to relevant and identified stakeholders
- Assist in overseeing and ensuring the delivery of ad hoc projects and special assignments. (such as organizational changes, governance, transformation plans, Ad hoc analysis and assessments)
- Addressing transversal topics across Operations, requiring coordination and monitoring on an ad-hoc basis
- Produce reports; request, collect, analyze, verify consistency, completeness and integrate weekly status reports on several streams
- Monitor progress of key projects, initiatives on the platform, and ensure appropriate reporting
- Keep updated action and issue logs, contact list, project distribution list and other registers as necessary
- Help maintain and reinforce relationship with global stakeholders (Métiers, other poles) and key stakeholders across Operations worldwide
- Support the Global Head of Operations in all messages conveyed to staffs, regulators, auditors and clients on the strategy and policies of BNP Paribas, liaising with the appropriate involved teams on the platform
- Assist in organizing Syndication days, Offsites, Townhalls and other related events in liaison with the Brand and Communications team
- Assist in the preparation for senior management visits (agenda, presentations, etc…)

Profile and Skills to Success
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or related discipline coupled with excellent academic credentials
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in business or project management for a company with a global footprint in a multicultural environment
- Understanding of project management methodology through work experience or education
- Excellent knowledge of the financial and/or banking industry

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Support local OPC’s on Risk Identification and Assessment
- Control execution and monitoring of countries’ control results and audit trails
- Give support and monitor Incidents and Event Management
- Ensure that recommendations from Internal and External Auditors are implemented by monitoring related Action Plans, at local level
- Create awareness about procedures updates and give training to local OPC teams
- Be involved in Governance (Internal Control Committees) and Reporting processes by overseeing the certification and anticipation processes during financial closing cycles
