About the job

  • The Settlement Account Manager works within the Securities Transaction Management Department and is responsible for the processing and follow up of the main processes which include pre & post settlement activities, clearing, relevant legal documentation, transaction and event-related accounting for securities deemed in scope. In the scope of these activities, the Officer interacts with several internal departments, external counter parties and entities

Your Main Activities Are

  • Rigorous management of the client transactions by monitoring pending/failed instructions, detecting errors/discrepancies and providing accurate information to clients either via email or phone in accordance to agreements in place
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the clients specificities, market requirements, internal processes and tools
  • Ensure client specificities databases and internal procedures are known and updated

About the job

  • The Documentation Drafting and Matching Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the risk undertaken by the business lines. A wide range of products are traded by the Trading desk including Options, Swaps, Forwards, within Oil, Metals, Softs, Energy, Power and Gas and Equities
  • The Documentation team’s primary function is to support the Trading and Sales desks through the drafting of OTC Physical confirmations for mainly all trades dealt with counterparties
  • The team performs a critical control role in the timely reconciliation of bookings with the confirmation and term sheet. The team is also responsible for notifying all post trade events with clients. The team ensures that all issues are controlled, reported and fixed by working closely with traders, sales people, strategists, IT and Legal, Credit and Compliance
  • The team is involved in process improvements with special focus on STP processing and management of risk and controls, new product initiatives and development of new business in all regions

Your Main Activities Are

  • Draft legal confirmations based on ISDA definitions for all products including Swaps, Forwards, Options and Hybrid Strategies
  • Trade review of risk booking and term sheets to ensure that they are in line prior to sending the documentation to clients
  • Monitor workflows to ensure the confirmations are prioritised accordingly and ensure the timely dispatch of confirmations
  • Meet regulators timelines targets
  • Issue post trade events notifications to clients such as exercises, restructures and partial or total terminations
  • Direct point of escalation internally on documentation / template queries
  • Daily liaison with customers on discrepancies and assist in redrafting confirmations to meet their needs

  • The Corporate Trust Operations Officer is responsible for analysing and integrating missing data in the systems, performing the consequent controls according to the procedures in place and ensuring that SLAs are met

Your Main Activities Are

  • Contribute to implement and maintain a strong control environment: At the level of Finance; In all regions and entities under Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) supervision or in any other entities delegated by the Central team, in order to guarantee the high quality of the financial data reported to the Head Office and to local Authorities; and to support the Accounting Controls teams in the regions

  • To obtain and analyse FACT certificates from the different entities and regions
  • To have a good knowledge of the problems faced by the entities/regions

  • Follow up operational risk incidents involving Finance and their impact on the control framework. Monitor remediation plans and timeline

In practice, your day-to-day

  • As a Data Scientist in the Scoring Center team, you will undertake projects to build risk prediction models. Your main responsibilities will be: 
    • As part of your modelling projects, you assess the needs expressed, define and propose the adapted deliverables and estimate their burden and time frame through an implementation plan that takes into account the challenges and constraints. You use statistical modelling methods (such as Logistic Regression, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting…), analyze and explain the results
    • You lead the project, keep track of the schedule and support the implementation and monitoring of the tools issued
    • As part of the monitoring and optimization of the BNP Paribas Personal Finance score models, you participate in the monitoring campaigns of the scores: generation and analysis of monitoring results, diagnosis and action plan
    • You are also responsible for conducting or analyzing statistical studies related to risk prediction models. If necessary, you take part in analytical support missions to the Group’s international entities and in the processing of audit recommendations relating to the Basel regulatory project
    • In addition, you actively contribute to the transversal missions of the Scoring Center: technological and methodological watch, regulatory watch, training, analytical support for the Group’s international entities

About the job

  • The Market Risk Capital Analyst coordinates the production of regulatory capital figures for market risk (Basel 2.5 and the forthcoming Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB)). Working side by side with the Market Risk Capital Production team, you will help turn raw data into reliable numbers, assist in explaining the drivers of capital changes and support communication of the results to Business Lines, Group Finance and Senior Management

Your Main Activities Are

  • Capital Production: Oversee and validate market risk capital calculations under Basel 2.5 and FRTB (Standardised and Internal Model approaches), ensuring accuracy, timeliness and alignment with Business and Finance expectations
  • Analysis and Explain:  Prepare capital explain analyses that break down the drivers of VaR, SVaR, IRC (Basel 2.5) and IMA/SA metrics (FRTB); collaborate with RISK MFI and Business teams to deliver clear commentary on past capital movements
  • Reporting and Communication: Assist in delivering high quality reports and present key findings to Business Lines, Risk Management, Group Finance, rating agencies, regulators, and auditors

  • The Quantitative Data Intelligence (QDI) team is responsible for providing data, insights, and analysis to Global Markets front office.
  • The team aims to build a solid database from various sources and develop analysis, reports and dashboards to provide valuable insight to the Front Office in a rapid, agile manner.

Your Main Activities Are

  • As a Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in our team.     • The Cash Account Manager is the privileged interlocutor of clients to follow-up their cash accounts. This follow-up is taking into consideration client needs to optimise their treasury and ensuring the correct processing of their cash transactions
    • To be part of a team working towards a common goal, following procedures and work organization, Cash Account managers will have to deal with several departments and interact with different activities, providing the possibility to expand the knowledge of all team members

Your Main Activities Are

    • Process client instructions by analysing, validating and implementing those instructions.
    • Check and monitor failed instructions and provide the correct update to clients, including follow-up on client’s instructions blocked by teams working in Credit Risk
    • Identify and advise on any exceptional or irregular situations, and put in place corrective measures in line with management validation
    • Manage email inboxes, phone calls and follow-up of requests from clients or internal teams
    • Extract the relevant information from systems and perform proper reconciliation of all details, while verifying documentation received and forwarding to relevant processing team (when applicable)

Within the team of Compliance Factoring, one compliance officer is dedicated to the factoring entities in Spain and Portugal. For this position, we are looking for a General Compliance Officer.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Organize the Compliance function and be the compliance contact person for the management, business representatives and internal stakeholders within Factoring Entities in Portugal and Spain
  • Undertaking actions to develop a strong Compliance culture 
  • Acting as the Money Laundering Reporting officer (with the help of Compliance Territory where needed)
  • Assisting and guiding the Company to: 
    • perform a coherent compliance risk assessment
    • organize a consistent and coherent roll-out of Compliance policies, processes, contro and projects across the Compan
    • roll-out compliance related trainings
    • implement an effective control set-up (incl implementation of corrective actions) 
  • Issuing binding or non-binding advices to the local business teams on escalated files (compliance incidentes, alerts, new activities, personal notifications, …) 
  • Representing compliance in local governance committees.
