  • Within RISK, the Global Practice RISK IRC is in charge of the independent review of the credit, market, counterparty, insurance and operational risks as well as the RISK ORC function of RISK. Risk Independent Review (RISK IR) is the team responsible for the independent review of the risk measurement systems for the risks covered by RISK IRC. These reviews can take different forms (ex-ante / ex-post, driven by a regulatory objective or not, methodology / implementation) and are more or less exhaustive according to the subjects treated. Within RISK IRC, the team Framework, Processes & Systems (FPS) is in charge of, among other things, the review of all the BNP Paribas Group’s processes and information systems (central and local) contributing to the measurement of credit, market or counterparty risks. The topics covered are as follows: data supporting the modelling and run of credit risk models (e.g. PD, LGD and EAD), market (VaR, IRC) and counterparty (EEPE); systems and processes dedicated to the production of the risk indicators and the computation of the Risk weighted assets; internal and regulatory reporting: collection of risk data and production of reports, local and central processing during the reporting process; Reconciliation of accounting and risk data locally and centrally; good application of the regulatory definitions and internal standards; use of the internal rating systems; governance and risk management.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Guarantee applicability of regulatory standards, internal procedures, internal systems and compliance
  • Performing review and analysis works, assessing risks for all types of risk measurement systems on the reviewed perimeter
  • Issuing reports and proposing action plans or recommendations to the concerned RISK departments and beyond
  • Performing in-depth independent reviews, in accordance with the following points: doing independent reviews of the risk measurement systems of the BNP Paribas group (any country); producing analyses related to the laws, regulations, procedures and existing practices; controlling the quality of the monitoring systems of the main risk families
  • Writing reports and proposing action plans: writing final reports; presenting the objectives of the review and its conclusions to the management; proposing remediation plans on the specific areas where weaknesses have been identified
  • Controlling recommendations and justifications supporting their closure
  • Comply with the Permanent Control Framework, defined within the team, and in accordance with the Group Procedures
  • Assists management in planning the specific audit plan for the analysis works to be performed
  • Lead the analysis works and advises and coaches other team members during the course of the reviews
  • Coach and train other team members, sharing the accumulated experience and knowledge as a specialist

About the job

  • The Project Manager’s mission is to lead simple to complex programmes or projects to success, while coaching junior team members, and striving for the continuous improvement of the project management methodologies and associated tools and techniques

Your Main Activities Are

  • Manage and ensure the completion of squads up to closure and the production of deliverables
  • Prepare the workshops with the collaboration of squad leaders (objectives, agenda, attendees) and produce the documents related
  • Provide the support to squad leaders to lead the workshops and produce the minutes
  • Ensure the production of deliverables
  • Monitor the progress status of squads and deliverables and produce the relevant KPI
  • Provide inputs on the various topics: the squads topics, the Finance Academy portal, the training catalogue (on the finance processes), the offer in MyLearning, the AskAI project based on the artificial intelligence, etc
  • Become the Ambassador of the Finance Academy and be able to talk about it on all the topics and endeavours covered by the initiative
  • Run some ad-hoc presentations (in autonomy) aiming at delivering the global picture of the Finance Academy activities
  • Identify topics that would be eligible and could be supported or managed by the Finance Academy (e.g. extension of the F&S perimeter, new experts’ communities)
  • Contribute to the existing initiatives aiming at enhancing the Infinity identity values and fostering the sense of belonging to the platforms community: Infinity Week, Infinity Talks, Interplatforms townhall, Mentoring program and other initiatives launched by the platforms
  • Bring her point of view and provide her feedback as a member of the Infinity EMEA to reinforce some practices and propose some improvements
  • Contribute to the production of organizational KPIs (headcounts, turnover, attrition, experience, recruitment, diversity..) produced on a quarterly basis for the F&S platforms
  • Reviewing the KPIs files, the formula and the graphs produced (4 eyes controls)
  • Checking the slides decks
  • Contributing to the qualitative comments (preparation of figures, variations between years, preparation of ad hoc tables to provide analysis and comments)
  • Presenting the full deck of KPIs to the operational committee (If I am absent or unavailable)
  • Participating to the restitution of the organizational KPIs in Tableau Dashboard
  • Contribute to various F&S and platforms transversal projects: Headcounts distribution file, Cost & Headcount monitoring dashboard, Harmonization of KPIs defined in the SLAs and produced in the various committees, and other upcoming projects

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master’s Degree in Business Management and or Information Technology and Computer Science
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel

  • Acknowledge and follow up all requests from clients, either for relief at source or reclaim purpose, create and prepare fiscal documentation whenever enhanced offer is in place for such clients and perform the necessary validations on the system and if applicable, communicate it to our custodian network. Assure that clients receive their payments or reclaim refunds according to the eligible market rules and their instructions

  • Validate tax documentation provided by clients according to each market rule
  • Control and assure correct taxation is applied on income payments
  • Answer to Account Manager queries related to the activity managed
  • Process cash reclaim refunds and assure accurate follow up and update of accountancy breaks and movements

Your Main Activities Are

  • Control data (positions/balances) between Front Office and Back Office applications
  • Control and validate the performance of customer estimates in Front Office applications
  • Control order flow, between Execution , Front Office and Back Office applications
  • Support and develop end user computing tools (Microsoft Access Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)) for operations, allowing a control on order flow and data flow
  • Participate to the controls of the activity
  • Coordinate various cross-functional tasks between various Operations departments (site support, error account monitoring, among others)
  • Define, produce and exploit quantitative indicators for all Operations departments (monthly) and for the sites (quarterly)
  • Guarantee a quality customer service to the various banks (quarterly indicators, regular control, follow-up of requests, among others)
  • Participate in Continuous Efficiency Improvement projects within the Operations department

About the Team
