  • The position is a Risk Analyst role within RISK Market and Financial Institutions (RISK MFI) dedicated to apprehending the general and specific risks related to Hedge Funds and Higher Risk Funds exposures
  • RISK MFI provides the Senior Management of the Group, of the RISK Function and of Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) with full transparency and dynamic analysis and monitoring of market, counterparty, liquidity risks originated and managed by CIB Global Markets and Securities and Services and of credit risks on Financial Institutions to assist them in their risk decision making and monitoring

  • We are looking for a motivated junior analyst with a strong analytical background and a passion for financial markets. Your Main Activities Are

  • Apprehend general and specific risks related to Hedge Funds and Higher Risk Funds exposures, notably related to the steering of in-depth quantitative analysis of the portfolio, design and review of relevant stress tests, margining approaches, or other key credit terms
  • Develop and maintain temporarily specific ad-hoc (market news, specific monitoring, …) or periodic key reporting enhancing the monitoring of counterparty and credit risks for Hedge Funds and Higher Risk Funds, notably around margining methodologies and stress testing
  • Coordination of some regulatory requests and reports related to Hedge Funds exposures, notably on Prime Brokerage

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master’s Degree in Finance / Applied Mathematics / Science / Engineering or related
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced level of English, both written and oral
  • Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail in assessing financial data and market dynamics
  • Proficiency in Python (or equivalent object-oriented programming language)—previous experience is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is equally valuable

  • The Funds Execution Team ensures the execution of all orders on investment funds, in the Wealth Management (WM) business line. At the heart of the Operations HUB, it provides its expertise to numerous WM sites. The team delivers a tailor-made experience, with outstanding attention to details to all WM clients

Your Main Activities Are

  • Execution of investment fund orders with custodians/transfer agents, in compliance with cut-offs
  • Monitoring executed orders, pending’s orders, contract notes and reminders to the counterparties. Also, control the order book (the pre and post execution controls)

  • The Secondary Exotic Trade Support Team (SE POS) and ETS is in charge of secondary events like increases, unwinds, early expiries or any coupon payment throughout the life cycle of the trade as well as increases of issuances amounts or Corporate Action events. The team has a strong operational risk and management approach on multiple European Trading desks and works closely with trading on a daily basis to guarantee the correct booking of all positions, cash flows and respective Profit and Loss (PNL)

Your Main Activities Are 
  • Secondary Trade Support is asked to intervene on positions at the request of Front Office (FO). These requests must be considered from a critical angle, considering the fact that they will impact the position in place. In particular, it is recalled that any modification or cancellation of a transaction beyond T + 2 – on the initiative of a trader – must be duly explained in writing and the trader’s management must be informed. Trade Support should at all times exercise a critical sense of the explanations provided.
  • Like all operations members, Trade Support implements the necessary elements to: Minimize operational risks and fraud risks by putting in place the regular and sufficient controls inherent to its position (reporting to relevant teams when needed and Escalate to his management, the management of the Front Office and / or permanent control the problems identified
  • The main goal of Secondary Trade Support is to guarantee traders their transactions and related events on the different products they hold in their portfolio: Guarantee Trading Transactions in Front / Operations Systems (The Middle Office (MO) guarantees trading transactions on exotic products and primary operations by comparing the operations received from FO in secondary systems (Exocet) with those retrieved by operations. About the Job
Operate the 1st Line of Defense CIB(Corporate & Institutional Banking) Data Privacy and Protection Controls framework according to Group methodology and tooling, and support its continuous improvement and evolution in order to align with the risk control self assessment framework and better capture personal data privacy and protection risks.

 Your Main Activities Are
 * Deploy and execute controls at the relevant level of granularity, ensuring consistency of execution across the different control owners and executioners
 * Define and follow-up on Action Plans implementation when relevant
* Ensure consistency of the Control framework with LOD2 independent test plan, and European Central Bank recommendations
* Liaise and interact with the stakeholders on a daily basis to promote the standardization of the Control framework by supporting Regions in the deployment of their control frameworks
 * Perform periodic and ad-hoc reporting to the appropriate level of management as well as independent control functions

 Profile and Skills to Success
 * Bachelor’s Degree in Law or any similar areas 
 * Advanced level of english fluency, both oral and written

  • The Credit Risk Monitoring Specialist position is part of the Credit Risk Monitoring team of RISK Markets and Financial Institutions (MFI) who monitors credit risk exposures to ensure the bank respects its risk appetite. The responsibilities include monitoring, analysis, decision making, and constant discussion with all stakeholders.
