About the job

  • The mission of Risk Systems is to provide Senior Management of the Group, of the Operating Divisions, and of RISK with full transparency and dynamic analysis of the risks and clients managed by CIB Business Unit. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Support Analyst to provide enterprise-level technical and business support to our users located globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application production support, with expertise in shell or python scripting, RedHat Linux, SQL, and experience with Geneos and Splunk configuration and dashboard building.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Provide technical and business support to users of Risk Systems, ensuring timely and accurate calculation of risk measures such as value-at-risk (VaR), stress VaR, and credit value adjustments
  • Ensure data integrity within the system, researching, diagnosing, and troubleshooting functional/data issues/queries
  • Collaborate with team leaders, project leads, and other development staff to deliver high-quality client services
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in Unix/Linux systems, shell or python scripting, SQL, and Geneos and Splunk configuration and dashboard building

Profile and Skills to Success

  • 5+ years of experience working in an application production support environment.
  • Hands-on experience with shell or python scripting (mandatory)
  • Hands-on experience with RedHat Linux and SQL (both mandatory)
  • Experience with Geneos and Splunk configuration, dashboard building, and other monitoring tools (preferably Splunk)
  • Strong understanding of investment banking business flows and risk management concepts
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and highly professional with a strong team player mentality.
  • Nice to Have: experience with Java programming language; knowledge of capital markets, market risk, and credit risk; experience with KPI reporting and data analysis

The Local Consulting Team Manager’s mission is to manage a team of internal consultants who contribute to projects in a co-staffing mode with the 2S C&T Paris team

Your Main Activities Are

  • As a team manager, you are responsible for overseeing the team and nurturing the development, skills and knowledge of its members, working closely with the local CIBC&T team and leveraging their processes and resources.   • The Portugal Private Credit Center of Expertise team forms part of the wider Loan Solutions team within the Alternative Investors (AI) client line, working in collaboration with the Private Capital teams
  • Loan Solutions is engaged in the delivery of product and solutions to asset manager and asset owner clients investing in Private Credit (corporate loans), Infrastructure Debt and Real Estate Debt.   • The main services delivered by the Portugal Private Credit Center of Excellence team are Loan Administration, Collateral Administration, Middle office services, Depositary function (recork keeping, cash processing) – where relevant and Loan Trade Closing – where relevant

Within the first line of defense of Global Markets, Operational Permanent Control (OPC) / Regulatory Permanent Control (RPC) are a key pillar for the monitoring of the non-financial risks (Operational, Conduct & Regulatory) & related control framework per the whole GM Regions and FO GBLs (Global Equities, FICC, Tech. Platforms). The Operational Permanent Control team deals with Operational Risk and Permanent Control area to fully meet objectives & requirements set regarding analysis and risk review, risk reduction programs and operational risk capital monitoring.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Control Framework Implementation (collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain controls aligned with the organization’s control framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements and identify gaps in existing controls and propose process improvements to mitigate risks)
  • Project Management (lead small-scale projects related to control industrialization, including planning, executing, and monitoring project deliverables, such as timelines, budgets and resources.   • The Finance Capital Markets Products Team Manager mission is to measure, control and explain the financial reporting of the Region’s entities, covering a large part of BNP Paribas Business Lines.
