About the job

  • The Group lead Buyer is part of a Group Category team where he/she is responsible for optimising the Spend bases across the purchasing segments under his/her responsibility, for all BNP Paribas entities, in accordance with the Group’s rules of conduct applicable to supplier relationships. A purchasing segment may correspond either to a sub-category within a procurement category or to a portfolio of key suppliers
  • Reports to a Group Category Team Leader
  • To achieve these objectives, the Group Lead Buyer:
  • Defines a procurement strategy and action plan for his/her segment(s)

Your Main Activities Are

  • With the support of the Group Category Manager and/or the Group Category Team Leader, heads up multi-functional teams (internal customers or stakeholders), define the procurement action plans for his/her segments and ensures their validation by the Purchasing Management Team
  • Ensures the implementation of the purchasing action plan within his/her segment(s) through BNP Paribas entities, in accordance with the Group’s rules of conduct applicable to relationships with suppliers:

About the Team: 

The Macro Quant & Derivatives Strategy team is part of Markets 360 and is responsible for quantitative and evidence-based research on macroeconomics and major asset classes. The team is composed of macro quant analysts and strategists who collaborate to develop and maintain models and processes that can be used to generate trade ideas and market analysis for inclusion in thematic publications. The team is client facing and works closely with sales, trading, structuring and other quantitative research teams within BNP Paribas Global Markets. 

The QIS Transversal team is part of EMEA Structuring team responsible for the creation and maintenance of indices used for AMC and structured products. The team works closely with all stakeholders internally (Sales, Trading, Legal and Technology) as well as clients to ensure a smooth running of our QIS Index business.

Role Responsabilities 

  • Develop leading quant indicators for asset prices and economic variables. 
  • This entails:Reviewing academic research to identify new modelling approaches
  • Maintaining existing libraries and developing new modules
  • Running data analytics
  • Exploring use of new data science techniques 
  • Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to economic and financial market data, producing pattern recognition, relationship identification and time-series model projections

We are recruiting one Graduate to integrate the GM Quantitative Research Team, within the Global Markets Front Office Business Area.

About the Team: 

GM Quantitative Research team is responsible for research and implementation of innovative financial models and tools for Global Markets, and works closely with Trading and Risk on a day-to-day basis to manage the valuation and risks of their portfolios. 
 

About the Quantitative Research Graduate’s Role: 

During the first 6 montsh, the Graduate will complete one 6-month rotation in the QR Team Architecture Team, followed by a second 3-month rotation in the LAB Data Science. Both Teams belong to QRE – Quantitative Research and Engineering. After completing the 2 rotations the Graduate will integrate one Team within QR Team Architecture

GM Quantitative Research Team Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance pricing libraries as well as build and support tools based on these libraries
  •  Continuously improve existing models, design and implement new models based on business requirements and regulations
  •  Perform quantitative engineering to help trading manage the valuation and risks of their books
  •  Provide support to Trading, Sales, IT and Operations teams
     

Profile and Skills  

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Physics or Engineering
  • Experience in programming
  • Knowledge of Mathematics, preferably Financial Mathematics/Stochastic Calculus
  • Good understanding of Computer Science: algorithms, complexity, among others
  • Research mindset with attention to detail
  • Excellent fluency in English
  • Availability for a full-time permanent position from 17 August 2026
  • Maximum of 2 years of working experience (including internships)
  • Availability for a 3 week trip to London starting on the 24th of August

About the job

  • The Credit Portfolio Analysis (CPA) team is in charge of analysing the quality and dynamics of the credit portfolio, including among others: cost of risk, portfolios under Risk Appetite Statement envelope, Environment, Social and Governance (ESG), and sensitivity analysis
  • The team is working in close coordination with the RISK practitioners and businesses, and coordinates credit-related committees/forums such as the CIB Credit Portfolio Committee

About the job

  • Cash Account Manager is the privileged interlocutor of clients to follow-up their cash accounts. This follow-up is taking into consideration client needs to optimise their treasury and ensuring the correct processing of their cash transactions
  • To be part of a team working towards a common goal, following procedures and work organization, Cash Account managers will have to deal with several departments and interact with different activities, providing the possibility to expand the knowledge of all team members
     

Your Main Activities Are

  • Process client instructions by analysing, validating and implementing those instructions
  • Check and monitor failed instructions and provide the correct update to clients, including follow-up on client’s instructions blocked by teams working in Credit Risk
  • Identify and advise on any exceptional or irregular situations, and put in place corrective measures in line with management validation
  • Manage email inboxes, phone calls and follow-up of requests from clients or internal teams
  • Extract the relevant information from systems and perform proper reconciliation of all details, while verifying documentation received and forwarding to relevant processing team (when applicable)
  • Follow-up on set-ups and fill in the corresponding files/systems with relevant data
  • Management and monitoring of client or counterparty claims via internal workflow tools (value date adjustment, return of funds, etc.)
  • Client testing follow-up – ensure that swift messages are properly integrated into systems when new clients are onboarded, or when new services are being introduced
