The Local Consulting Team Manager’s mission is to manage a team of internal consultants who contribute to projects in a co-staffing mode with the 2S C&T Paris team

Your Main Activities Are

  • As a team manager, you are responsible for overseeing the team and nurturing the development, skills and knowledge of its members, working closely with the local CIBC&T team and leveraging their processes and resources. You also manage internal mobilities and take part in local recruitment in partnership with the CIBC&T Management team. In addition, you actively contribute to the extended team governance in Paris, promote knowledge‑sharing both within the local team and with the Paris team, and ensure smooth, seamless communication across the two locations, and develop a proximity with 2S local teams
  • As a project manager, you lead projects ensuring that the key project outcomes are delivered wit the guarantee of growing collaborative, long-term client relationships while maintaining independence and the capacity to challenge them, ensuring meaningful project structure and governance, as well as management of key stakeholders, represent projects in key meetings, such as OpCo and SteerCo, and report directly to project sponsors, but also that the state of the art consulting methodology is applied to frame and execute programmes, projects, or specific complex project streams, on time, on quality and on budget. You will also lead hybrid project teams with members located in Paris and/or Lisbon, ensuring their engagement and training on the job, providing continuous support and coaching to the project team members, providing continuous support and coaching to the project team members fostering and contributing to continuous improvement mindset within the project team and with client (always leveraging client and project team members’ feedback)  and ensuring efficient management of project resources, creating a safe place and exercising constant vigilance on team members’ well being

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Masters in Business Management, in Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction
  • At least 5 years of experience in Management Consulting
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in MS Office Pack, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

About the Team

  • Securities Services (2S) is a business entity of BNPP CIB. 2S internal consulting team is located in Paris and counts 15 consultants, working for Senior Management on strategic and transformation projects throughout the organisation. The team is willing to develop an arm in Lisbon to leverage international and consulting profiles in a cross-staffing mode, working alongside Paris consultants, on projects mostly sourced from Paris 
  • The local 2S Consulting Team will report functionally to the Head of the Paris team, and locally to the Lisbon Head of CIB Consulting & Transformation

 * The Senior KYC Officer’s (SKYCO) primary focus is to act as the first level of control (1B) in reviewing, advising and validating on KYC (Know Your Client) due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients. The SKYCO is also accountable for ensuring all relevant stakeholders sign-offs

 Your Main Activities Are
 * Perform data control and KYC file review: Validates correct data entry into the KYC tools based on the due diligence conducted and controls documentation format and content, to ensure adherence to due diligence guidelines

 * Ensures all processes executed during the final overview of the KYC files are delivered per predefined guidelines

About the job

  • The Portugal Private Credit Center of Expertise team forms part of the wider Loan Solutions team within the Alternative Investors (AI) client line, working in collaboration with the Private Capital teams
  • Loan Solutions is engaged in the delivery of product and solutions to asset manager and asset owner clients investing in Private Credit (corporate loans), Infrastructure Debt and Real Estate Debt. The team purpose is the delivery of client solutions and services designed specifically for General Partners investing in private assets, direct loans and broadly syndicated loans in particular.
  • The main services delivered by the Portugal Private Credit Center of Excellence team are Loan Administration, Collateral Administration, Middle office services, Depositary function (recork keeping, cash processing) – where relevant and Loan Trade Closing – where relevant
  • Primary role focus is the AI client line and client segment, however the team’s coverage also encompasses service delivery for Asset Owners, traditional Asset Managers investing into Private Credit asset classes, and BNPP CIB Global Markets
  • The Officer mission is to ensure the service delivery (delivery of results, strong awareness of Risk & quality), according to procedures and Service Level Agreement (SLA) in place

Your Main Activities Are

  • Process activities following the operational procedures in place, ensuring the SLA is met and perform the tasks according to work allocation
  • Performing the controls according to the procedures and risk mapping (checklists, 4 eyes check…)
  • Analyse and integrate data in the systems while comparing data from different sources ensuring its reliability
  • Manage queries, while understanding the different priorities and forward the requests to the respective departments
  • Ensure escalation of non solved queries and potential incidents
  • Extract reports, gather information and provide information to support the decision process and/or oversight duties
  • Ensure client satisfaction by following up on their instructions, ensuring that queries are dealt in a timely manner and respecting the norms and standards

About the Job

The role sits within the Global Markets Regulatory team, which belongs to the Business Development department within Global Markets.

The Business Development department is led by Arnaud de Tregomain (Global Markets COO and Head of Business Development).  This department is composed by the COO teams, the business strategy and strategic investment team, the Regulatory team and the Communication and Marketing team.

The Global Markets Regulatory team has around 10 resources, mainly based in Europe (London and Paris) but has a global representation with presence in New York and Hong Kong. Isabelle Paresys, based in London, is leading the team. The team is supervising the entire portfolio of the regulatory topics affecting Global Markets including Market Structure, Investors protection, Prudential topics (capital, balance sheet, liquidity) and is performing action through the entire life cycle of these regulations.

Your Main Activities Are

As part of Global Markets Regulatory Team and in close cooperation with the different business lines, the role of a regulatory analyst will be twofold

  • Coordinate Global Markets (GM) Reg Transversal initiatives (organise and coordinate contribution from GM Reg team members to Regulatory forums and committees, Reg Sharepoint, GM Website, Reg Newsletter and Symphony; participate to the definition of GM Reg internal and external communication strategy, meaning enhance use of existing tools, propose new vectors of comms and improve sharepoint organisation)
  • Support to the Regulatory specialist through the entire regulatory life cycle of a given regulation, from advocacy to BAU (the regulatory analyst will contribute to the impact assessment of new regulations or refit of existing ones on the different Global Markets business lines, provide support in term of business advisory to front office teams to adapt to the new regulatory landscape and provide regulatory guidance to functions during the implementation of those regulations for Global Markets; main focus of the role is on EU driven regulatory topics impacting Global Markets activities. However such regulatory topics could have global impacts due to extra-territorial application of the rules. Conversely, US or APAC regulations may have an impact in the EU and interfere with EU regulations)
  • The role encompasses the following responsibilities regarding the support of regulatory specialists (supporting Regulatory specialists in raising awareness of GM business lines on upcoming legislative proposals in front-user friendly formats, such as 2 pagers, flashnews, factsheets and articles; perform impact analysis of new or existing regulations on the different business lines, such as manipulation of data to reflect revenue loss, scoping impacts in term of products, entity and location impacted; producing KPIs on specific regulatory topics, providing support on key documentation tasks such as working hypothesis, scoping assumptions, training materials, FO guidance and regulatory factsheets; ensuring dedicated Sharepoint is up to date and working closely with Global Markets trading and sales heads, GBLs and local Business Management and other internal business partners, such as Global Markets Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Legal, GRM and ITO)

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Graduated from Business School or Engineering School
  • At least 3 years’ experience in banking, consulting, finance or business management
  • An overall understanding and interest in the financial world and in current political and regulatory developments
  • Team player and cross-cultural awareness, collaborate and provide information to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Structured, methodical approach and ability to prioritize considering possible impacts on the business
  • Excellent communication skills in both native and English languages
  • Passion, tenacity and resilience in fast-paced environment
  • Able to put together well structured and easy to follow presentations conveying the key messages and findings from the work completed
