  • The AML L2 Trainee will support the AML L2 Compliance teams, by performing initial tasks required within an AML investigation. These tasks will be performed as a complement and initial steps of the more detailed AML investigation, performed by the team (Officers and Senior Officers)

Your Main Activities Are

  • Deliver a timely and efficient investigation of alerts escalated by AML L1 by ensuring alerts are correctly prioritised by order of date or risk category and by handling the alerts efficiently, working effectively with internal stakeholders to obtain all relevant information
  • Conduct diligent desktop research to assess relevant data for each alert which will often include KYC, payment details, account activity, clients’ counterparts’ business activity, records of counterparts’ owners and directors, location and choice of payment vehicle
  • Write and think clearly and succinctly to produce cogent and incisive investigation reports. The investigation reports should allow the reader to understand the logic of the investigator’s assessment of risks, the conclusions to close or escalate the case and to easily link the investigators’ findings to the evidence collated by the investigator
  • Keep updated on developments around the world and locally in the market concerned so as to make intelligent assessments in a broad range of cases whether the payment flows give reason to suspect any type of financial crime, whether this be money laundering, tax evasion, sanctions circumvention, bribery & corruption, financing of terrorist activity or other types of criminal activity
  • Contribute to the team’s organisation and coherence by facilitating discussions within the team (e.g., at morning meetings)
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools by identifying and measuring process inefficiencies or tool deficiencies, escalating these so that proposed changes can be assessed and sharing bet practice with other AML L2 and Compliance Hub Teams

The Sanctions and Embargoes B2 Officer performs an independent review of sanctions alerts that have been escalated by Level A and investigated by Level B1. B2 Officers can make a decision either to release, reject/block or escalate to the third level of the framework based on the investigation and supporting documents prepared by Level B1. Inserido na Direção de Sistemas de Informação (SI), o Information Security Officer (ISO) deve garantir que as regulamentações de segurança IT são respeitadas e implementadas de acordo com as regras do grupo BNPP e de acordo com os padrões da indústria.

  • Identificar, acompanhar e relatar riscos de IS security específicos no seu perímetro;

  • Certificar-se que as regulamentações locais para a segurança IT são respeitadas;

  • Implementar autorizações de acesso IS para o seu perímetro. 
  • Implementar controlos internos de segurança IT;

  • Informar e participar periodicamente nos comités de IS Security;

About the job

  • The Finance Capital Markets Products Trainee mission is to measure, control and explain the financial reporting of the Region’s entities, covering a large part of BNP Paribas Business Lines
  • Within the EMEA Finance organization, is also responsible for ensuring an accurate, reliable and comprehensive set of segmented financial data required for the production of all Reporting streams in relation with Capital Markets Business Lines

Na prática, o teu dia-a-dia

  • Como CRM & Performance Analyst na área de Relational Marketing irás contribuir para o fortalecimento da relação cliente, desenvolvendo novas formas de agregar valor e melhorar a experiência cliente, através da implementação de estratégias de CRM suportadas em análises comportamentais e por uma gestão inteligente da informação.
  • No teu dia-a-dia, irás desenvolver e executar planos de comunicação multicanal (segmentação, seleção, comunicação, análise e reporting) e gerir as plataformas de automação de Marketing Relacional. 
  • Também terás como responsabilidade a melhoria contínua sobre os processos de Marketing Direto e a sua otimização com suporte em abordagens de Test & Learn, tendo em vista a maximização do ROI das campanhas.

About the Job 

  • The Structured Products Sales Analyst belongs to a global sales workforce in charge of selling financial products to clients who are used to trade standardized products on a reverse inquiry mode. Missions are diverse from assisting and supporting other front office members in their day-to-day activity to focusing on automation and transformation projects

Your Main Activities Are

  • Pricing & Execution of Client’s requests about Structured Products and Derivatives
    1. Price (or liaise with Structuring to price) requested products
    2. Communicate and negotiate with Clients
    3. Communicate and give feedback with Trading
    4. Execute transactions
  • Post-Trade Tasks
    1. Finalize booking of Traded deals 
    2. Interact with all of the internal stakeholders and clients regarding any traded deal
  • Pre-Trade Tasks
    1. Interact with Sales to finalize Clients’ on-boarding
    2. Prepare marketing documents/pitches/emails in coordination with the Sales
    3. Complete trade approval process with necessary channels prior to initiating trade 
  • Digitalization / Transformation
    1. Continuously escalate feedback and improvement ideas to increase streamlining of the workflow
    2. Active contribution to the development of the Bank’s tools to enhance pre-trade as well as post-trade processes and systems
    3. Responsible for suggesting and driving digitalization projects and implementing them in the day to day

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance or Economics
  • Interest in Financial Markets (with focus in Derivatives and Structured Products)
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in English both oral and written (mandatory)
  • Advanced knowledge of Office package (Excel)
  • Multi-tasking and methodological skills alongside high level of attention to detail

About the Team

  • The Lisbon-based Structured Products Sales is part of a global sales workforce in charge of selling tailor-made investments solutions (Structured Products and Derivatives Products) to clients used to trade standardized products on a reverse inquiry mode. Within a fast-paced and stressful environment, he is in charge of promoting the firm’s brand, products and services to existing clients. The range of products is very large and will include both Equities and Fixed Income underlyings. Clients, also called Distributors, are diverse as well, and may range from large financial institutions to private and retail banks as well as smaller asset managers or family offices. On top of the main mission of managing the heavily operational day-to-day, he will also have to help the bank scale by focusing on automation and transformation projects
  • The team in Lisbon is organized in sub-scopes, each servicing different Sales desks across the different geographies of the Global Markets franchise. For this specific position, we are looking for someone that will work within the Swiss Distribution Team covering the Swiss market

  • The Senior Developer’s mission is to contribute to the functional and application related consistency of the IT solution and ensure the service continuity and continuous development. As a SAP FINANCIALCONSOLIDATION ADMINISTRATOR, you will have to ensure the smooth functioning ofthe  Financial Consolidation tool and provide level 1 support to the usersduring the quarterly closings

YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN RSBI TEAM

  1. Quarterly closings

Your day-to-dayactivity during quarterly closings will include, but not be limited to, thefollowing tasks:

  • Create and manage the data entry environment 
  • Create and manage the consolidation environment (exchange rates, scopes, consolidation definitions)
  • Manage the security module (owner groups, functional profiles and data access groups) 
  • Provide rudimentary support to the application users (credentials management, blocking controls solving, etc.)
  • Ensure the correct transfer of data between the consolidation tool and other company’s applications and databases (ERPs, data warehouses) and guarantee the quality of that data
  • Monitor the application via the administration console
  1. Process improvements
  • Participate to the implementation process improvements
  • Enrich existing technical documentation and create new
  1. Data knowledge development and financial business skills acquisition: 
  • Apply the above knowledge to improve and enrich the data model to fit the user’s demands

Tocarry out these missions, you will work in very close collaboration with other departments: consolidation team, management accountingteams, IT…

 

AS OUR NEW SAP FINANCIAL CONSOLIDATION ADMINISTRATOR, YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Financial and accounting knowledge
  • Information systems interest
  • Professional background about 3/4 years in an equivalent position 
  • Knowledge of SAP Financial Consolidation application (not mandatory but nice to have)
  • Knowledge and interest in data modelling and database architecure
  • Basic consolidation knowledge
  • Basic IFRS standards
  • English B2 (mandatory (C1) if you don’t speak French)
  • French B2 (Ideal (or less B1) and agree to learn French)
  • Accounting and EPM tools (SAP FC (or similar), Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle, Tagetik …) 
  • Office tools (excel, word, powerpoint)
  • Data tools (SAS, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Dataiku…)
