About the job

The Flow Credit team is responsible for the development and implementation of analytic tools for pricing, market making, risk management and PnL explain of all products related with the Flow Credit trading desks. Main traded products include Bonds, CDS, Index, and ETFs. The role will be in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal, working within a team of finance professionals supporting BNPP Global Market activities globally. Training in London may be provided at the beginning of the role in order to become familiar with the setup and to build relationships with other team members.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Contribute to the team’s pricing analytics and related tools, by following development best pratices and sharing knowledge with the rest of the team
  • Enhance and support the analytics and tools used by the Flow Credit trading desks, to help them manage the valuation and risks of their books
  • Support the IT chain (booking systems and risk engine) by identifying issues and implementing fixes in the team’s analytics library, and do the necessary follow up with users (communication with trading, structuring, IT, Risk, MO, project managers)

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Masters or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Physics or Engineering

  • Fluency in English

It will be a nice plus if you have:

  • Knowledge of one class of financial instruments: Equity, FX, Interest Rates, Credit or OTC derivatives

  • The KYC Data Officer’s primary focus is to gather client data and documentation to construct a KYC (Know Your Client) file to support the due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients

  • Loan trading business facilitates the transaction of loans in both primary and secondary markets, providing liquidity and investment opportunities for market participants. It enables investors to gain or adjust exposure to corporate credit, manage portfolio risk, or capitalize on distressed opportunities by trading loan products following industry standards such as LSTA/LMA.   • Work closely with the sales & trading desk, clients, legal counsel, and operations teams to settle primary, secondary and distressed loan trades for US and UK desks
  • Create trades in ClearPar and confirm their details
  • Coordinate with counterparts and administrative agents to review and execute all trade documents necessary for closing in a timely manner, adhering to LSTA/LMA timeframes

About The Team

  • FXLM MAST Institutional Sales at BNP Paribas – Global Markets acts as the point of contact for clients who are looking for help with sourcing liquidity, getting efficient market access, pricing, and execution, by engaging in high-frequency interactions.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Identify costumer needs and selling our transactional and products capabilities
  • Sell FXLM products and promote the Group’s brand to our Institutional clients
  • Provide clients with market insights, trade ideas, and actionable trading strategies
  • Hold regular performance reviews with clients
  • Understanding how clients choose counterparties for risk pricing and maximizing the chances to see the trades
  • Provide clients with market data, prices and other information
  • Prioritize digitalization, automation and use data to improve the clients’ journey, drive BNPP’s growth and market share expansion
  • Monitor, manage and market e-trading capabilities and performance.

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master’s degree, preferably in Finance
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, in English

Na prática, o teu dia-a-dia

Integrado no CoE Applications Development & Maintenance, terás como missão fazer a gestão das releases, mantendo o foco nos vários aspetos necessários à coordenação das interdependências entre projetos, de forma que sejam integrados numa única solução e num único momento de release. As principais responsabilidades são:

  • Planear e assegurar o cumprimento do calendário de releases.
  • Gerir e informar quais as janelas de releases (tempo de freeze entre ambientes e trabalhos necessários na preparação da release).
  • Coordenação das meetings necessárias ao processo (Antevisão, Handover Meeting e Release Follow-up Meeting).
  • Coordenar os diferentes projetos a concorrer para uma release (gestão de impactos).
  • Gerir o Risco associado à release.
  • Assegurar a disponibilidade dos recursos para efetuar a release.
  • Assegurar comunicação dos projetos que compõem a release a todas as partes interessadas.
  • Acompanhar e monitorizar o processo de release.
  • Garantir a qualidade do processo de releases e a melhoria contínua do mesmo.

About the job

  • The FOC Senior Controller is responsible for the creation, implementing and development of global controls across all asset classes by performing 1st line of defense processes for different regulatory bodies and regulations, such as miFID II, FED, CFTC, Volcker, EMIR, etc. The FOC team was created in 2018 when it was identified that after recent changes in the regulatory landscape there was a further requirement to develop and enhance Regulatory and Internal Controls

Your Main Activities Are

  • Contribute to a strong and resilient control framework within BNP Paribas
  • Identify and analyze several financial transactions to discover potential breaches and proposing possible solutions
  • Strengthen and develop the current controls so they are more accurate and efficient
  • Build and create new controls as necessary, according to new regulatory requirements
  • Actively take part in or lead projects that relate to the area
  • Contribute towards identifying required developments to improve efficiency and implement them
  • Confidence in the setup of meetings and presenting at high level meetings
  • Oversee ad-hoc queries arising from Management, Business, within a Global Remit
  • Onboard, train and mentor less senior team members whenever necessary

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Management or related
  • At least 2 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations, Audit or Consulting
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge in Transversal Financial Markets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, namely Excel
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Attention to detail
