- The Senior Compliance Analyst main purpose is to provide local support to the FPE Portugal Chief Compliance Officer and FPE Portugal management in order to ensure that the Compliance framework in place meets local regulatory requirements and BNP Paribas & FPE policies and procedures.

- The mission of RISK Market & Financial Institutions (“RISK MFI”) is to provide the Senior Management of the Group, of the RISK Function and of Global Markets (“GM”) and of Securities and Services with full transparency and dynamic analysis and monitoring of market, counterparty, valuation and liquidity risks originated and managed by CIB and of credit risks on Financial Institutions in order to assist them in their risk decision making and monitoring

About the job
- The Corporate Credit Analyst trainee’s main mission is to produce high-quality Credit Proposals in a timely and efficient manner to enable BNP Paribas Corporate Coverage to do new business with clients, such as gaining credit committee approval for new business, manage exposure to credit risk and meet its regulatory requirements through Annual Reviews
Your Main Activities Are
- Assess Counterparty and Credit Risk
- Collect and monitor key information on clients, such as annual reports, financial statements, web site information, requesting and analysing internal inputs for business line memos
- Liase with Relationship Managers to gain in-depth knowledge of client environment, strategy management, resources and financials
- Analyse and summarise the counterparty and credit risk on clients and prospects
- Prepare Credit Proposals
- Complete Credit Proposals compliant with guidelines, quality standards and policies
- Participate in the continuous improvement of credit process efficiency
- Monitor Credit Risk
- Ensure the follow-up of client exposure and monitor global credit risks by alerting on any change in ratings, any major event or material evolution
- Monitor client’s covenants, strategy implementation and risk profile
- Maintain portfolio reports and use proactively the internal credit tools
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or any related fields
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Attention to detail and an analytical approach
- Ability to collaborate with others

- The Operational Permanent Control (OPC) department is a key component for the management of operational risks. It is an independent control function within the business, first line of defense. The OPC operates and coordinates the Control framework relating to all operational risks, including Fraud, Third Party, Conduct, Regulatory, Information & Communication Technology risks, Financial Security, and others risks types, limited to what is defined under the Target Operating Models (TOM) in place.
