  • BNP Paribas Securities Services is the bank for financial institutions, handling operational transactions linked to their securities accounts. As a branch of BNP Paribas, our mission consists of protecting our clients’ assets and managing their operational transactions throughout the whole investment cycle
  • As part of Derivatives Execution and Clearing (DEC) business line, the Derivatives Clearing Officer has to handle middle-office and back-office activities on his/her markets scope

Your Main Activities Are

  • Be the 1st point of contact for all counterparties (clients, brokers, Central Counterparties (CCPs)) with regards to trade allocation/clearing
  • Top day trade monitoring and allocation for involved exchanges to ensure Straight-Through-Processing (STP) trade flow
  • Follow up of pending trades closely and ensure all clients trades are booked at T-day
  • Perform timely reconciliation between internal systems and Exchanges ones
  • Identify, assess, monitor and control the risks of the activity
  • Clearing Houses vs Back Office Reconciliations (margins, premiums, positions, initial margins)
  • Ensure that reports sent to clients are reliable
  • Manage daily payments and intra-day margin calls
  • Ensure that all clients related issues, queries and request are addressed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner
  • Monitoring of corporate action events impacting the underlying contracts
  • Follow up of instructions settlement processing
  • Maintenance of the accountancy balance (Market fees reconciliation, CCP vs client cash flows, among others)
  • Participate in projects to drive the business forward to deliver internal or market system releases (Market releases, Middle Office (MO) / Back Office (BO) tools enhancements, among others)

  • The Documentation Matching Analyst is responsible for checking the integrity and accuracy of the booking and help managing the subsequent risks undertaken by the business lines

Your Main Activities Are

  • Check Front Office (FO) booking to ensure all trades are captured in the systems and that the details are in line with documentations received from clients. Verify and match legal confirmations (electronic and/or physical) according to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) definitions, approved confirmation templates and other relevant industry recommendations and best practices
  • Ensure a correct archival of all incoming confirmations and monitor workflows to ensure incoming confirmations are prioritised accordingly and ensure timely matching of confirmations. Identify and solve financial and/or legal discrepancies on incoming confirmations
  • Resolve queries and exceptions where necessary, understanding the importance of effective escalation
  • Timely resolve mark-ups on outstanding trade confirmations
  • Daily liaison with Customers on discrepancies and assisting in confirmations to meet their needs and meet clients’ expectations in the strict respect of internal group policies and procedures in place

About the Team 

  • The Matching teams’ primary function is to support the Trading and Sales desks through the matching of electronic and paper confirmations on a variety of products (vanilla, exotics, complex structures) and asset classes (Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Credit and Interest Rates Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, precious metals and other commodities)

  • The Documentation Matching Analyst is responsible for checking the integrity and accuracy of the booking and help managing the subsequent risks undertaken by the business lines

Your Main Activities Are

  • Check Front Office (FO) booking to ensure all trades are captured in the systems and that the details are in line with documentations received from clients. Verify and match legal confirmations (electronic and/or physical) according to the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) definitions, approved confirmation templates and other relevant industry recommendations and best practices
  • Ensure a correct archival of all incoming confirmations and monitor workflows to ensure incoming confirmations are prioritised accordingly and ensure timely matching of confirmations. Identify and solve financial and/or legal discrepancies on incoming confirmations
  • Resolve queries and exceptions where necessary, understanding the importance of effective escalation
  • Timely resolve mark-ups on outstanding trade confirmations
  • Daily liaison with Customers on discrepancies and assisting in confirmations to meet their needs and meet clients’ expectations in the strict respect of internal group policies and procedures in place
  • Be customer focused by maintaining excellent relationships with our external clients; understand their organisation and their expectations
  • Liaise with drafting teams, Legal, Trading and Sales to agree documentation with Counterparties

About the Team 

  • The Matching teams’ primary function is to support the Trading and Sales desks through the matching of electronic and paper confirmations on a variety of products (vanilla, exotics, complex structures) and asset classes (Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Credit and Interest Rates Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, precious metals and other commodities)
  • The Matching teams perform a critical control role in the timely reconciliation of bookings with clients’ confirmations. The teams are also responsible for verbal and /or written affirmation of trade details with clients before the value date or the maturity of the concerned transactions. Vous intégrerez la Direction Client au sein du département Flux financier et plus particulièrement le service Analyse des Comptes. Vous aurez l’opportunité de travailler avec l’ensemble des départements de cette Direction, mais aussi avec la Direction financière (Comptabilités). L’activité consistera à analyser au quotidien les écritures bancaires non rapprochées afin de les apurer et produire mensuellement les rapprochements bancaires du portefeuille de comptes qui vous sera confié. Vous contrôlerez sur le périmètre confié, la qualité des décaissements manuels et automatiques produits la veille. Enfin vous contribuerez à la production trimestriels des travaux d’arrêtés (calcul des provisions, interprétation des soldes, Sign-off, procédures du contrôle permanent). Sous l’autorité du responsable du service, vous maintiendrez à jour la documentation des procédures et fiches de comptes.

  • ITO Department of CIB Global Market deals with documentation and operational management of securities issues by BNP Paribas Issuance BV, dedicated to CIB GM and supporting sales teams located mainly in Europe. The documentation mandate consists mainly of the final terms and supporting documents, which will be drafted according to templates issued by LEGAL. Issuance Operations consist of pre-trade tasks (ISIN code activation, data reconciliation, agent’s information)

Your Main Activities Are

  • Prepare documentation of issues on underlying equities, indices, BNPP proprietary indices, commodities, currencies, and ETF. The documentation consists mainly of the final terms and supporting documents which will be drafted according to templates issued by LEGAL
  • Review and validate certain documents automatically generated by Front Office systems (Universal drafter, FISH, TEP Studio)
  • Ensuring the consistency of programme documentation with the terms and templates drafted by LEGAL
  • Take over the formalities for depositing documentation of structured securities issues with market authorities, financial agents, quotation exchanges or clearing systems
  • Ensure administrative formalities (e.g. drafting notices) in connection with events affecting securities issues (issuing call events, corporate actions, increases, adjustments, etc.), in accordance with the procedures and templates established by LEGAL; Adjust internal databases following these events
  • Be a proactive partner with Front-Offices, Back-Offices, financial officers and other stakeholders in the broadcast chain for the successful completion of the closing and rating of the broadcasts
  • Interacting with the lawyers of the SIG Paris legal team to (i) contribute to the improvement of the legal templates for the coverage of issues, and (ii) maintain the level of automation of the drafting and workflow tool used for the securities issuance activity
  • Maintain the databases of the documentation of securities issues
  • Ensure a high level of execution concerning the daily production of the Final Terms
