  • The IT Project Management Officer’s mission consists in contribute to the definition, design and implementation of a solution that meets a requirement expressed by a stakeholder, taking into account the resources allocated, the deadlines, budget,  compliance rules and the Group’s applicable best practices
  • We are seeking a strategic, analytical, and people-focused professional to join our Information Technology Project Portfolio and Lifecycle Management team. This role will be pivotal in shaping and driving IT projects and portfolio governance, execution excellence, and the alignment of technology investments with business outcomes

Your Main Activities Are

  •  IT Project Portfolio: global oversight and coordination of the IT project portfolio, their performance and quality metrics, aligning key actions and insights. Organize portfolio alignment reviews and community forums/committees to track progress and ensure compliance
  • IT Project Lifecycle Management: Contribute to the evolution and management of frameworks, standardize project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and promote best practices
  • IT Project Quality Framework Development: lead the development and refinement of the IT Project Quality framework to ensure consistent delivery excellence
  • Team Collaboration: help to coordinate and organize the work a team of project coordinators, analysts, and PMO professionals; coach and mentor junior staff. Facilitate cross-functional workshops and training sessions to build project management capability

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in IT project management, portfolio oversight, or PMO leadership within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management in banking environments
  • Experience with quality assurance frameworks and delivery standards
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools and portfolio analytics
  • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe Agile are highly desirable
  • Demonstrated leadership of global or regional teams with diverse skill sets

  • Responsible for conducting and supporting a broad scope of HR services, throughout the whole employee life cycle in BNP Paribas.   • The mission of RISK Market & Financial Institutions (“RISK MFI”) is to provide the Senior Management of the Group, of the RISK Function and of Global Markets (“GM”) and of BP2S with full transparency and dynamic analysis and monitoring of market, counterparty, valuation, and liquidity risks originated and managed by CIB and of credit risks on Financial Institutions in order to assist them in their risk decision making and monitoring
  • The Counterparty Credit Risk team of RISK MFI analyses the counterparty risk exposure on specific names or a portfolio, monitors its aggregation across products and counterparty types, designs and maintains specific counterparty risk stress test methodologies, participates to the definition of the counterparty risk appetite and acts as point of contact on topics related to the collateral.   • Drive the analysis of the credit counterparty risk (CCR) generated by CIB activities with its clients
    1. Support and advise on the portfolio review analysis performed by the team or produce own analysis when required

  • The Source to Pay (S2P) Process and project analyst is in charge of functional designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting the standard sourcing to pay solutions platform and related processes, until accounting feeding. The analyst intervenes on several SAP platforms and modules to contribute to convergence to a unique Core model

  • Ensure functional analysis of different modules of the application in line with the sourcing to pay Core Model

  • The Partners for Projects (P4P) BI Data Analyst main mission is to support the project teams in performing extensive data analysis projects and develop business cases, through data tools, automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Your Main Activities Are

  • Support the project teams in performing extensive data analysis projects by using BNP Portugal data tools, mainly Alteryx, Dataiku, Python and PowerBI
  • Support in sourcing new Digital and AI use cases
  • Understand how the different Digital and AI technologies integrate and End-2-End process
  • Build the necessary Business Cases to support the use case validation and hand over to the Digital & AI providers

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Academic background in Management, Economics or any other relevant
  • At least 3 years of experience in Transformation and Digital practices, Business Analysis and/or Business Intelligence, with a transversal knowledge of available digital technologies, from automation to AI
  • Previous experience in project and change management tools and methodologies and in Digital and AI business case tools 
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics tools, such as Alteryx, Dataiku or equivalent and development using Python and PowerBI
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office tools, notably MS PowerPoint & Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

  • The KYC Data Officer’s primary focus is to gather client data and documentation to construct a KYC (Know Your Client) file to support the due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients

Your Main Activities Are

  • Initiation and preparation of onboarding/recertification KYC process: understands the purpose of each client on-boarding or recertification request and explains BNP Paribas KYC process to the client
  • Conduct initial checks against internal data / databases to determine KYC information held within the bank and required documents to constitute “Kick-off pack” to be shared with clients. Additionally, define the “onboarding/recertification specifications” including multi-site local requirements
  • Liaise internally with relevant stakeholders for list of required KYC and Regulatory (FATCA, AEOI, MIFID) documents, determines required documents for KYC and performs gap analysis with existing documents
  • Prepare list of required onboarding/recertification documents and constitute client “Kick-off pack”
  • Collection of information and documents: interrogates internal/external sources and KYC utilities to obtain data and documents required by the relevant client segment policy and collects remaining documents from the clients
  • Organize documents collected and extracts relevant data to support the KYC process. Also, ensure and validate that collected documents are consistent, valid and adequate with internal procedures/guidelines, while ensuring due diligence regarding local requirements for multi-site clients are properly performed. Review all tax and regulatory required documents (FATCA, AEOI, MiFID) when Regulatory control does not exist
  • Enter or update systems with data related to Scoring Grid (e.g. activity, source of funds), based on the documentary analysis performed
  • Create waiver of document after review with Relationship Manager, if required. Also, escalates when necessary to other internal actors to deal with higher risk elements / situations
  • Perform documents upload and data capture: ensures the completeness of the onboarding/recertification request in the systems and creates ownership structure and list related persons (Hierarchy Management)
  • Update systems with corresponding data based on the documentary analysis performed

  • Regulatory reporting is the regulator mean to undertake market surveillance. It allows the regulators to identify situations of potential market abuse, insider dealing, price misdirection, systemic risk. Failure to report entirely or accurately can significantly limit the regulators ability to execute his market watch role resulting in severe consequences for the bank or employees. We must ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness of information sent to regulator to reflect the correct firm market activity
  • The team is charge of monitoring and control transactions reporting to regulators worldwide on behalf of all group entities

Your Main Activities Are

  • Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and exhaustiveness of the trade reporting by performing a close monitoring (in-house and external systems) of transactions reported
  • Tackle for all jurisdictions operational rejections; analyse them and resubmit them when required
  • Answer or prepare the answer to regulators queries
  • Perform in depth analysis of issues to identify root cause (IT feed issue, incorrect populated field, incorrect reporting logic applied, among others) and escalate it to relevant teams (external or internal)
