About the job
- The OTC (Over-the-Counter) Middle Office Statics Analyst’s main mission is to provide support to clients that subscribe to the Transaction Management Service, by being in charge of all the Static Data processes with OTC world as well as for Short-Term Interest Rate (STIR)
- The OTC Middle Office Statics Analyst is under the Market and Financing Services business line, that provides a range of solutions to support the increasingly sophisticated requirements of institutional investors and financial intermediaries
Your Main Activities Are
- Understand the Static Data process end to end on all the business lines under MFS Global Static Data overview
- Perform the set-up of different types of static creation in the back office applications and perform the entire static data request diligently without any mistake
- Participate actively on migrations and project calls and be able to add values on related subject
- Understand the new and updated client account opening requests, new broker-relationship set-ups, ISIN creation, Collateral and Tax matrix setups and settlement instructions into various internal applications, as requested by various departments, such as Business Support Team, Relationship Manager or Front Office
- Deal with procedures and checklists without any deviations and in-line with delivery standards and service level agreements (SLA)
- Anticipate requirements from various teams throughout the day and complete the setups accordingly
- Constantly improve business knowledge through training and multi-skilling, keep cross-trained across various functions in the team, identify areas for change and ensure they are followed up and implemented
- Follow appropriate escalation procedures and be a risk manager for the process by verifying the control processes, following up on the incident reports and implementing the preventive measures immediately
- Prioritize the work and conduct investigation with due diligence on all the discrepancies or breaks and respond to all queries within the timeframe agreed as per SLA and procedures
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Management or any related field
- Up to 2 years of experience in Baking and Financial Operations or Client Management
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Comfort with Microsoft Office tools, namely Excel
- Great team spirit and excellent communication skills
- Analytical mindset with a critical sense of priority
