  • The Know Your Client Officer (KYC Officer) mission is to ensure that all KYC files are in compliance with the applicable policies and procedures and accurately coded in the various systems of the bank. Depending on the assignment within the KYC Office, it also contributes to open, amend, review and close client accounts and can be responsible of analyzing the compliance of client documentation and advising front office accordingly before codification in client referential and documents repository

Your Main Activities Are

  • Ensure compliance with the legal, regulatory and fiscal framework and the procedures of the bank

ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Operational and Permanent Control (OPC) function sits at the heart of Global Markets’ risk architecture, delivering end‑to‑end monitoring of non‑financial risks and embedding a resilient conduct and control framework that safeguards the integrity and long‑term sustainability of the platform. As part of the Chief of Conduct and Controls Officer (CCCO) and operating across all regions, OPC partners closely with key internal stakeholders, business, Functions and transversal teams, to design and maintain the operational‑risk cartography, reinforce the front‑to‑end internal‑control set‑up. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting & Analysis
Support the OPC team in producing regular operational‑risk indicator reports. Perform weekly, monthly and quarterly trend analyses, comparing current results with historical data to surface emerging patterns and insights.

Data Management & Quality
Collect and analyze data using a range of tools, craft and maintain the necessary queries, and carry out routine data‑quality checks to guarantee accurate and reliable inputs for all reports.

Digital Improvement
Continuously evaluate existing reports and propose enhancements. Champion digital solutions such as LLM that automate or streamline the reporting process, reducing manual effort and increasing speed.

Governance & Communication

  • The Client Onboarding/Assets Migration Officer mission is to keep high quality services by close monitoring of the different elements, tasks and phases related to client onboarding and assets migration and deliver in due time the milestones agreed. Be part of our dynamic Compliance Control and Risk Management team, focused on support the evolution of Cardif’s strategy in a fast environment (regulatory and technological) and protect the business from major non-compliance and reputation risks. 

As part of this Key Function, Compliance Control and Risk Management (CCRM) team’s mission is to set up, coordinate and supervise the second level of controls of BNP Paribas Cardif Compliance and Control, following the Compliance control plans and independent Testing Methodology. 

As of today, the scope of controls includes Financial Security, Professional Ethics, Personal Data Protection, Protection of the Interests of Customers, Market Integrity, Regulatory items (Volcker, AEOI, FATCA). 

Its purpose is to ensure each year the independent execution of all Cardif Compliance control plans in the EMEA region.

YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE COMPLIANCE CONTROL AND RISK MANAGEMENT TEAM

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Guarantee the execution of Cardif Compliance control plans in several countries among the list above. This execution follows four steps:

1) Preparation of the controls in collaboration with the Local Compliance Officer.

2) Execution of the controls on-site.

3) Formalize the report form and the report (also call “feedback on the controls”).

4) Share of the results of controls with CCRM, the Compliance Domains and the Regional Compliance Officers, and report quarterly these results in a dedicated tool.

  • Guarantee the execution of Cardif Compliance Independent testing in several countries among the list above.
  • Contribute to the compliance control framework management (risk mapping, operational risk incident review ….) in liaison with Compliance Cardif Head Office
  • Ensure the same service and quality levels requested.

  • The Finance Capital Markets Products Controller mission is to ensure the reliability, sincerity, integrity and the exhaustiveness of the accounting delivered by the upstreams chains (Front to Back) and organisation (Operations – Back and Middle Office). About the job

  • The KYC Coordinator’s main mission is to oversee the KYC (Know Your Client) journey of client onboarding and recertification, acting as primary point of contact for KYC and account opening matters for a designated Business Group or Territory

Your Main Activities Are

  • Ensure the client receives the highest standard KYC experience based on business governance, business priority preferences and operational capacity, managing and optimizing the transversal pipeline within a business group and synchronize next review dates of legal entities
  • Confirm with Business the entities to recertify or to terminate, including existing and anticipated secondary sites, and inform other legal entities of trigger events occurring within the Business Group
  • Ensure that KYC Data Officer uses all available internal and external sources for document collection during gap analysis
  • Collect remaining documents from clients, including local add-on of secondary sites, and sharing reusable documents or waivers with other legal entities to be onboarded or recertified in a later phase
  • Communicate effectively the onboarding and recertification status to internal stakeholders and client when needed, acting as the correspondent between the client, business and other internal functions all along the KYC process, and ensuring, when applicable, connectivity to relevant client applications while onboarding clients
  • Assist the Business on KYC related tasks
    1. Handle KYC related inquiries quickly to reduce any delay or loss of business
    2. Seek ways to improve KYC process and client journey continually, by leveraging on client feedback
  • Orchestrate efficient and effective coordination with all internal teams
    1. Coordinate the whole KYC process of onboarding, recertification and trigger events and business extension, from the request initiation to KYC validation
    2. Coordinate joint decisions within business group legal entities when required
  • Ensure timely escalation in case of blocks and facilitate resolution actions to address identified risks and blocking points, overseeing internal teams involved in KYC process and ensure defined key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, including lead time
  • Facilitate connection with secondary sites stakeholders to make sure their specificities are considered and provide help to Primary Site Senior KYC Officer during validation coordination with other sites
  • Coordinate the whole onboarding process, when applicable, including account opening, with relevant stakeholders

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Management
  • Up to 2 years of experience in Project Management and Consulting, Banking and Financial Operations or Client Management
