  • The Transportation Finance team is currently made of 45+ people including a Coverage Relationship & Origination team, a Transaction & Execution team and a Credit Portfolio Management Team (CPM) spread across 6 countries serving the sector client in EMEA. These teams are split across three majors, Real Estate Financing, Aviation and Shipping & Offshore. The CPM team is also cross functionally part of a broader CPM team with Export & Leasing & Alternative Structuring. This transversality aims to provide a common training path, opportunities to explore other sectors, more efficiency and greater mobility
  • Within BNP Paribas, Credit Analysis plays a fundamental role in the selection of the bank’s assets, contributing to the sustainability of the business model. This is critical in reaching the right credit decisions, bringing added value to the business as well as strongly monitoring risks

Your Main Activities Are

  • Based in Lisbon, the CPM Trainee will work on a pool basis closely and under the supervision of the relevant credit analysts / relationship managers, assisting the Team in the: 
  • Analysis of the creditworthiness of a portfolio of clients. The analysis is driven by a review of the counterparty financial analysis as well as assessment and monitoring of counterparty and credit risk 
  • Perform on a regular basis industry overviews and peer analysis  
  • Preparation of written Credit Proposals (Annual Reviews, New Requests, Amendment/Waivers) entailing the above points in order to support credit committee decisions regarding the client’s risk of default, credit rating and adequacy of the proposed financing
  • Reporting & Data management ensuring database quality
  • Work with cohesion and team spirit within the CPM team and with the other members of the Transportation Finance team as well as with internal/external stakeholders (on a local and international scale)

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Economics, Management Finance and Accounting

  • The Corporate Trust Operations Officer’s main mission is to be responsible for analysing and integrating missing data in the systems, performing the consequent controls according to the procedures in place whilst ensuring that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met

Your Main Activities Are

  • The Cash Management Client Support Trainee will support the Daily Servicing team on operational activities linked to clients’ day-to-day banking operations

  • Conducting annual and interim credit reviews while timely producing a factual summary of client’s creditworthiness, compliant with Bank’s guidelines, with a recommendation on internal rating/GRR, the limits, the legal credit terms, and risk strategy vis-à-vis the client

About the job 

 * The Senior KYC Officer’s (SKYCO) primary focus is to act as the first level of control (1B) in reviewing, advising and validating on KYC (Know Your Client) due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients. The SKYCO is also accountable for ensuring all relevant stakeholders sign-offs

 Your Main Activities Are
 * Perform data control and KYC file review: Validates correct data entry into the KYC tools based on the due diligence conducted and controls documentation format and content, to ensure adherence to due diligence guidelines
 * Refers to relevant team members and/or managers to highlight data inconsistency and suggest methods of resolution. In addition, identifies root causes impacting the quality and the trainings needs
 * Ensures high standard of quality in the KYC files in adherence to the bank’s policies and procedures. Additionally, acts as a subject matter expert to support KYC Due Diligence team. Implements new policies, procedures and communications from Compliance and Global Coordination and Support
 * Ensures timely escalation and owns proposed course of actions to line management to address identified risks and blocking points during such processes
 * Overviews the full client KYC file analysis, to ensure completeness and consistency before validation steps, substantiating the KYC review with a factual based-analysis
 * Ensures all processes executed during the final overview of the KYC files are delivered per predefined guidelines

Na prática, o teu dia-a-dia

 

A tua missão será realizar e gerir as operações diárias e controlos da atividade de Crédito de stock e wholesale, de acordo com as normas de risco dos países onde prestamos serviço e as diretrizes estabelecidas pelo manager, a fim de atingir os objetivos e prestar um serviço de qualidade aos nossos clientes. 

Irás igualmente acompanhar projetos relacionados com o crédito de stock operacional no ISF e nos projetos dos nossos clientes.

Destacamos as principais responsabilidades: 

  • Ativar linhas de crédito no aplicativo, dependendo do que foi decidido em comité entre o Risco e a área Comercial de cada país.
  • Garantir a atividade diária de gestão de linhas (contratos, registos, cancelamentos, bloqueios, modificações e set-ups, pagamentos em excesso, reembolso e em dívida) e de gestão de incidentes.
  • Gerir a faturação em todas as diferentes linhas de crédito e atualização de reembolsos no iSF.
  • Garantir as atividades estratégicas de Stock Finance (crédito stock e wholesale) dos países de PF, para absorção dos picos de atividade.
  • Controlar diariamente a prestação de serviço aos parceiros, tendo por base o suporte especializado e industrialização de processos.
  • Controlar, monitorizar, enviar e arquivar a documentação dos veículos que está depositada no SET.
  • Elaborar relatórios mensais de fecho, aproveitando a solução PowerBI existente. 
  • Realizar as ações de otimização planeadas e respetivos testes ao nível operacional do aplicativo iSF.
  • Participar em reuniões de projeto com outras áreas ou de novos projetos dos clientes.
  • Solicitar os desenvolvimentos necessários do aplicativo iSF para a correta gestão da atividade.
  • Cumprir os elevados padrões de qualidade e rigor dos serviços/processos, assim como os SLAs definidos com os clientes.
  • Participar na harmonização de processos entre as subsidiárias do iSF, nomeadamente nos processos de revisão contínua, automatização e industrialização.
  • Elaborar controles de conformidade: cálculo de encargos financeiros, informações bancárias, garantias e monitorização dos créditos vencidos.
