  • The Documentation Matching Analyst is responsible for checking the integrity and accuracy of the booking and help managing the subsequent risks undertaken by the business lines
  • The Matching teams’ primary function is to support the Trading and Sales desks through the matching of electronic and paper confirmations on a variety of products (vanilla, exotics, complex structures) and asset classes (Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Credit and Interest Rates Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, precious metals and other commodities)
  • The Matching teams perform a critical control role in the timely reconciliation of bookings with clients’ confirmations. The teams are also responsible for verbal and /or written affirmation of trade details with clients before the value date or the maturity of the concerned transactions. The teams ensure that all incoming confirmations are controlled, issues identified, reported and fixed by working closely with traders, sales people, legal and other relevant departments in the bank
  • They are also involved in process improvements with a special focus on straight through processing (STP) and management of risk and controls, new product initiatives, development of new business in different regions of the world

Your Main Activities Are

  • Check FO booking to ensure all trades are captured in the systems and that the details are in line with documentations received from clients. Verify and match legal confirmations (electronic and/or physical) according to the ISDA (International Swaps and Derivatives Association) definitions, approved confirmation templates and other relevant industry recommendations and best practices
  • Ensure a correct archival of all incoming confirmations and monitor workflows to ensure incoming confirmations are prioritised accordingly and ensure timely matching of confirmations. Identify and solve financial and/or legal discrepancies on incoming confirmations
  • Resolve queries and exceptions where necessary, understanding the importance of effective escalation
  • Timely resolve mark-ups on outstanding trade confirmations
  • Daily liaison with Customers on discrepancies and assisting in confirmations to meet their needs and meet clients’ expectations in the strict respect of internal group policies and procedures in place
  • Be customer focused by maintaining excellent relationships with our external clients; understand their organisation and their expectations
  • Liaise with drafting teams, Legal, Trading and Sales to agree documentation with Counterparties
  • Daily responsibility for verbally confirming trade details
  • Continuous review of processes and controls ensuring high level of risk management. Daily report through ORUS (tool) of the identified risk areas
  • Ensure Static Data setup linked to confirmations for new and existing clients
  • Maintain effective working relationships with Front office Trading and Sales, Legal, Compliance, IT and other Operational areas in Paris, Montreal or Singapore and globally through daily interactions
  • Proactively contribute to improve team effectiveness through Continuous Improvement approach.

About the job

  • As a team lead for our Cyber Program team in Portugal, you will integrate our Cyber Security department, working alongside the Global Program Director in Paris as well as several Cyber-maturity assessors and project management officers to control that the CIB cyber-program achieves its targets
  • Your responsibility will be to manage the Cyber-Program team in Portugal, be the key point of contact for the program direction in Paris and support the monitoring of projects in situations that require higher seniority to solve

Your Main Activities Are

  • Manage our Cyber-Program maturity team
    1. Organize the team priorities and tasks to achieve the program objectives
    2. Manage the team lifecycle: ensure successful onboarding and clear structure for all members, optimize their activities to their strengths and to help them to develop, provide feedback, propose organization improvements, reinforce retention of key resources, participate to recruitment of new talents etc.
    3. Establish strong coordination with the Cyber-program team in Paris to promote smooth collaboration and ensure expectations are well defined and understood locally
    4. Control that the delivery quality is aligned with the program expectations
  • Support the program objectives
    1. Build strong understanding of the project portfolio and its objectives to support the monitoring in place and help the team solve difficult situations (identify arbitration / escalation; propose solutions etc.)
    2. Monitor evidence collection of the projects that contribute towards compliance of frameworks, regulators or other external controllers (2LOD etc.): help the team build structured approaches, identify risks and actively propose solution for the most complex evidence to validate
    3. Build coordination with the BNPP Group teams in Portugal who oversee assessing CIB maturity to facilitate the review process
    4. Support the Cyber-program Steering to prepare presentations to the management or to answer ad hoc requests (regulators, audits etc.)

Profile and Skills to Success

Au sein de la branche Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), le département Marketing & Communications joue un rôle clé pour promouvoir l’image du Groupe et soutenir sa stratégie d’innovation et de développement à l’international.

En tant que Communication Officer, vous contribuerez à renforcer la visibilité et l’influence de BNP Paribas CIB sur les réseaux sociaux et le web, auprès d’audiences internes et externes. Vous serez un acteur clé de la stratégie de communication digitale du Groupe, en lien avec des équipes basées à Paris, Londres, Lisbonne et dans le monde entier.

Vous rejoindrez l’équipe Marketing & Communications de CIB à Lisbonne, dans un environnement international stimulant. 

Vos principales missions seront :

  • gérer et développer la présence de BNP Paribas CIB sur les réseaux sociaux, principalement LinkedIn.
  • créer des contenus visuels et rédactionnels impactants en anglais, sur des thématiques variées (banque, digital, transformation, RH…).
  • mettre en place et suivre des campagnes sponsorisées sur LinkedIn, analyser les performances et proposer des axes d’amélioration.
  • accompagner les experts CIB dans la valorisation de leurs messages, en adaptant les contenus pour maximiser l’engagement des collaborateurs, clients et prospects.

Et la rémunération ?

Fixée par arrêté ministériel, elle est versée mensuellement et se compose de deux éléments : 

  • une indemnité commune, identique pour tous les jeunes en mission 
  • une indemnité géographique, variable selon le pays (et parfois la ville) de destination.  Cette indemnité est recalculée chaque trimestre.

Vous êtes diplômé(e) d’une école de commerce, d’ingénieur ou d’université (ou équivalent universitaire), avec une première expérience en communication, marketing ou secteur bancaire.

Electronic Client Solutions (ECS) is a global team within the COO group, with teams based in London, Lisbon, New York and Singapore, ECS represents the backbone of BNP Paribas’s Electronic trading offering.

Its core function is to provide a single point of contact for Client queries for all our Electronic products and services. ECS supports Clients, Trading venues and external counterparties, is responsible for Client enablement, Client Support and vendor relationships across all our Ecommerce platforms. 

ECS supports BNP PARIBAS clients on Single dealer and Multi dealer platforms in conjunction with Sales and Trading. Its responsibilities fall into three main business/product lines organised respectively into three sub-teams:

  • FX Cash / Options / Algos / Commodities
  • Fixed Income – Rates / Credit / Structured Products / Derivatives
  • Structured Products / Derivatives

ECS are a critical component of Electronic Business & Markets group, providing the highest level of service to our external and internal clients to position BNP Paribas as a leading provider of Electronic Markets solutions.

Your Main Activities Are

Transversal Role:

  • The role is transversal in nature. While the initial focus will be on Fixed Income (FI) activities, the incumbent must be prepared to expand their support to include Foreign Exchange (FX) operations as business requirements evolve. This flexibility ensures the team can respond swiftly to changing market demands and maintain a high level of service across both product lines.

 Client Enablement:

  • Responsible for managing and implementing all Client/User Enablement requests to BNP Paribas electronic trading platforms including our Single dealer Platform (Cortex Suites, Smart Derivatives), Multi Dealer platforms such as Bloomberg, Tradeweb, FXall, 360t and FIX API Connections.
  • Relationship with other departments – Sales, Trading and IT Support Teams to manage the configuration of Pricing and Client margin across various platforms.

 Business Support:

  • Resolve issues across all BNP Paribas electronic products and services, ensuring a quick and effective resolution.
  • Ensure clients are connected, being priced and able to trade at all times.
  • Monitor the status of all systems and electronic trade flows
  • Using data-mining analysis tools to identify issues
  • Provide business support to Trading & Sales
  • Working closely with IT, Credit Risk, Legal, Compliance, etc.

Pricing Configuration:

  • Manage all pricing and tier changes for Sales and Trading in the respective gateways.
  • Manage price controls and limits across all products, ensuring all changes are properly controlled and approved prior to implementation.

Business Optimisation:

  • Client Engagement Activities: monitor new client activity as well as dormant clients and users, follow up on credit and limit issues.
  • Conduct client feedback surveys to ensure ECS is meeting customer expectations, improving service levels and product development as needed.
  • Record all Client Engagement activities in our ecommerce CRM tool to ensure accurate and meaningful MIS around Client Engagement.
  • Constantly review manual process and suggest new operating models to improve efficiency

Profile and Skills to Success

Work schedule:

We are seeking a motivated professional to provide dedicated support for our United‑States operations. The successful candidate will work from our Porto office, aligning their schedule with the U.S. business day to ensure that American customers, partners, and internal colleagues receive timely and effective assistance.

The role operates on Lisbon‑based hours (GMT + 0) that correspond with U.S. working hours. In practice, the two standard shift patterns are:

  •  Early shift: 12:30 pm – 9:30 pm
  •  Late shift:  2:30 pm – 11:30 pm

These windows guarantee coverage throughout the typical U.S. workday, facilitating seamless cross‑Atlantic collaboration.

While the early shift is available, the position may regularly require assignment to the late shift.

Additionally, occasional backup shifts are expected, particularly during New York holiday periods, to maintain uninterrupted service. Candidates must therefore demonstrate flexibility for backup coverage and be prepared to adapt their schedule as business needs dictate.
