  • Since 2015, BNP Paribas Wealth Management has a competence center in Lisbon (PIMH = Portugal International Markets Hub) to manage activities for several locations (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Monaco)
  • The Data Analyist Team Leader will be working for WM Head Office Data Office and will manage the Data Management and Business Analytics team located in Lisbon, reporting functionally to the Head of Data Office based in Paris
  • The WM HO Data Office’s mission is to manage all topics related to Data Governance and Strategy for Wealth Management incl. Data Management and Protection and Data Analytics. The Data Management and Business Analytics team based in Lisbon is a new team composed of different data profiles (Data Quality, Data Protection and Data Analysts)
  • With a strong acceleration in the digitalization of business, data plays a key role in our strategic plan. To meet this challenge, one of the team’s missions is to promote the use of Data visualization (Power BI/Tableau) and Analytics tools to fully exploit the potential of data and improve decision-making

Your Main Activities Are

  • In this context, we need to strengthen the team with a Data Analytics Team Leader who will manage the Data Management and Business Analytics team based in Lisbon. His/Her main missions are to: 
    1. Build and automate Power BI/Tableau dashboards to better manage and facilitate decision-making within Wealth Management, especially for Head Office and International Market. You will be required to support the different departments / entities in the implementation of their use cases (e.g. monitoring of Financial KPIs, Sales Steering use case, etc.) 
    2. Industrialize the different data flows with Power Query /DataIku to facilitate the preparation and exploitation of data
    3. Model certain indicators/scores via DataIku 
    4. Actively contribute to the animation of Wealth Management Data community 
    5. Work on the governance of analytics tools to improve the quality of controls and reporting at WM HO Data Office level 
    6. Ensure the management and development of the team starting with the recruitment of Data Analyst profiles over the next 2 years to reinforce the Data Analytics set-up

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology and computer science or other related areas
  • Experience as a manager
  • At least 10 years’ professional experience including 5 years in Data analytics
  • Good understanding of the data schema, querying, and relational schema
  • Be proficient in Data Viz tools (Power BI/Tableau) and data modeling (Dataiku)
  • Language and queries Dax, Power Query and Python
  • Fluent in English 
  • Adaptability and autonomy

  • Result-driven, constantly looking for ways to improve your performance
  • Ability to collaborate/Teamwork in a collaborative / transversal way
  • Ability to share and to communicate with different stakeholders (IT/Non-IT)
