Under factoring contracts Domestic, Import and/or Export for BNP Paribas Factor Portugal and BNP Paribas Factor Spain, the Debt Collector is responsible for the recovery of debts. He/She responds to the Team Leader of the Recovery Process International. The actions carried out must consider the subsidiary’s development priorities in terms of products and markets and be carried out in a spirit of transversally with the subsidiary’s other management. The debt collector must execute his work in a responsible manner in accordance with the values and beliefs of the BNPP Group – Code of Conduct – particularly the principles of Diversity and Inclusion.
Business mission:
- Follow up buyers by telephone, email or other means to obtain payment of invoices;
- Qualify and analyze information obtained from buyers on reasons for non-payment;
- Controlling buyer risk by sharing information with our clients;
- Know and apply the rules and vigilance instructions introduced by Compliance and/or the principals in terms of both Financial Security and Protection of client interests, Market Integrity, Professional Ethics or Banking and Tax Laws.
Your main activities are
- Dealing portfolios actions;
- Carry out recovery actions by telephone/email/other to qualify invoices;
- Process incoming calls and emails;
- Updating contact details;
- Check the seller’s activity to make the right questions during the recovery action;
- Analysing the buyer’s behaviour (typology) in order to adapt the conversation and make the right decisions;
- Identify incorrect benefits or invoices and inform the supplier about the dispute;
- Transmit to the clients legal department, the risks detected (buyers in RJ/LJ or false invoice);
- Report buyer/seller claims and assist in resolution;
- Participate in the department’s productivity by proposing improvement ideas;
- Perform other missions and/or administrative tasks defined by the Leader Team as part of the monitoring of the activity;
- Acts in accordance with the instructions of Compliance and/or the clients and in relation to the fight against money laundering, the financing of terrorism, tax fraud, internal and external corruption, market integrity, banking and tax laws and applies the guidelines on International Financial Sanctions and the KYC policy;
- Act with ethics and integrity, in accordance with the code of conduct and the protection of client interests.

Your Main Activities Are
Overall point of contact for GM Americas (GMA) CICG organization on all needs related to usual course of activity (BAU)/escalations, strategy, budget, projects, improvement efforts, and regulatory engagements

Electronic Client Solutions (ECS) is a global team within the COO group, with teams based in London, Lisbon, New York and Singapore, ECS represents the backbone of BNP Paribas’s Electronic trading offering.

Transversal Role:
- The role is transversal in nature. Client Enablement:

- Ensure clients are connected, being priced and able to trade at all times.

Pricing Configuration:

- The Digital Marketing team provides digital solutions to marketing & communication teams worldwide, across six international platforms in Europe, Asia and the US for Global Markets activities.

- In Lisbon, the team is already responsible for RFA data warehouse administration & support, for the entity BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions
- RFA is a data warehouse for Risk, Finance and ALM data required for internal, regulatory and BNP Paribas Group reporting (ALM, FINREP, liquidity, risk reports, etc.), with reconciliation, controls and archiving / backup functionalities. Moreover, it is part of Business Intelligence applications with evolution projects
- Furthermore, ITT&F team also manages RFC, the Risk Finance Calculator linked to RFA and computing the IFRS9 stage & Risk parameters (PD, LGD, GRR) and watch list indicators
- The last part of the LS reporting chain transferred to Lisbon is the administration and monitoring of all the reporting interfaces (IR2X), developed through SAS to produce the different dataflow / reports in Group direction or other contributors
