Under factoring contracts Domestic, Import and/or Export for BNP Paribas Factor Portugal and BNP Paribas Factor Spain, the Debt Collector is responsible for the recovery of debts. He/She responds to the Team Leader of the Recovery Process International. The actions carried out must consider the subsidiary’s development priorities in terms of products and markets and be carried out in a spirit of transversally with the subsidiary’s other management. The debt collector must execute his work in a responsible manner in accordance with the values and beliefs of the BNPP Group – Code of Conduct – particularly the principles of Diversity and Inclusion.

Business mission: 

• Follow up buyers by telephone, email or other means to obtain payment of invoices;
• Qualify and analyze information obtained from buyers on reasons for non-payment;
• Controlling buyer risk by sharing information with our clients;
• Know and apply the rules and vigilance instructions introduced by Compliance and/or the principals in terms of both Financial Security and Protection of client interests, Market Integrity, Professional Ethics or Banking and Tax Laws.

Your main activities are

• Dealing portfolios actions; 
• Carry out recovery actions by telephone/email/other to qualify invoices;
• Process incoming calls and emails;
• Updating contact details;
• Check the seller’s activity to make the right questions during the recovery action; 
• Analysing the buyer’s behaviour (typology) in order to adapt the conversation and make the right decisions;
• Identify incorrect benefits or invoices and inform the supplier about the dispute;
• Transmit to the clients legal department, the risks detected (buyers in RJ/LJ or false invoice); 
• Report buyer/seller claims and assist in resolution; 
• Participate in the department’s productivity by proposing improvement ideas;
• Perform other missions and/or administrative tasks defined by the Leader Team as part of the monitoring of the activity;
• Acts in accordance with the instructions of Compliance and/or the clients and in relation to the fight against money laundering, the financing of terrorism, tax fraud, internal and external corruption, market integrity, banking and tax laws and applies the guidelines on International Financial Sanctions and the KYC policy; 
• Act with ethics and integrity, in accordance with the code of conduct and the protection of client interests.

Electronic Client Solutions (ECS) is a global team within the COO group, with teams based in London, Lisbon, New York and Singapore, ECS represents the backbone of BNP Paribas’s Electronic trading offering.

Its core function is to provide a single point of contact for Client queries for all our Electronic products and services. ECS supports Clients, Trading venues and external counterparties, is responsible for Client enablement, Client Support and vendor relationships across all our Ecommerce platforms.

Your Main Activities Are

Transversal Role:

• The role is transversal in nature. While the initial focus will be on Fixed Income (FI) activities, the incumbent must be prepared to expand their support to include Foreign Exchange (FX) operations as business requirements evolve.  Client Enablement:

• Responsible for managing and implementing all Client/User Enablement requests to BNP Paribas electronic trading platforms including our Single dealer Platform (Cortex Suites, Smart Derivatives), Multi Dealer platforms such as Bloomberg, Tradeweb, FXall, 360t and FIX API Connections.
• Relationship with other departments – Sales, Trading and IT Support Teams to manage the configuration of Pricing and Client margin across various platforms.

 Business Support:

• Resolve issues across all BNP Paribas electronic products and services, ensuring a quick and effective resolution.
• Ensure clients are connected, being priced and able to trade at all times.
• Monitor the status of all systems and electronic trade flows
• Using data-mining analysis tools to identify issues
• Provide business support to Trading & Sales
• Working closely with IT, Credit Risk, Legal, Compliance, etc.

Pricing Configuration:

• Manage all pricing and tier changes for Sales and Trading in the respective gateways.
• Manage price controls and limits across all products, ensuring all changes are properly controlled and approved prior to implementation.

Business Optimisation:

• Client Engagement Activities: monitor new client activity as well as dormant clients and users, follow up on credit and limit issues.
• Conduct client feedback surveys to ensure ECS is meeting customer expectations, improving service levels and product development as needed.
• Record all Client Engagement activities in our ecommerce CRM tool to ensure accurate and meaningful MIS around Client Engagement.
• Constantly review manual process and suggest new operating models to improve efficiency

Work schedule:

About the job
 * Participate in the framing, design, and follow-up phases of strategic projects providing support to BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Management in the transformation process both locally and at Group level

 Your Main Activities Are
 * Perform quantitative and qualitative research and analysis to support ongoing projects and practices
 * Create and take ownership of basic models and provide support to the development of complex business cases
 * Prepare and participate in workshops and meetings using relevant techniques and providing insightful results
 * Prepare, structure, and conduct project presentations to clients
* Develop client-tailored solutions for previously structured problems
 * Seek proactively to participate and help the team beyond the assigned duties
 * Execute the tasks assigned respecting time schedule and deadlines
 * Communicate and receive constructive feedback both in formal and informal ways

 * Bachelors Degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related areas

 * Consulting & Transformation (C&T) is part of the COO scope of BNP Paribas Portugal. Its goal is to advise BNP Paribas’ Management, participating in the framing, design and implementation of projects and operating models aimed at supporting global Functions & CIB Business lines, having both a global and local mandate

About the job

This position focuses on the global management, development, testing, delivery and support of the cross-asset analytics libraries, trading tools and information systems. 
The role will be in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal, working within a team of computer scientists supporting BNPP Global Market activities globally.
