The mission of Compliance Factoring is to provide, through its opinions, oversight and independent second level controls, reasonable assurance to the management that compliance, regulatory and reputational risks are monitored, controlled, and mitigated as relevant. 

Within the team of Compliance Factoring, one compliance officer is dedicated to the factoring entities in Spain and Portugal. For this position, we are looking for a General Compliance Officer.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Organize the Compliance function and be the compliance contact person for the management, business representatives and internal stakeholders within Factoring Entities in Portugal and Spain
  • Undertaking actions to develop a strong Compliance culture 
  • Acting as the Money Laundering Reporting officer (with the help of Compliance Territory where needed)
  • Assisting and guiding the Company to: 
    • perform a coherent compliance risk assessment
    • organize a consistent and coherent roll-out of Compliance policies, processes, contro and projects across the Compan
    • roll-out compliance related trainings
    • implement an effective control set-up (incl implementation of corrective actions) 
  • Issuing binding or non-binding advices to the local business teams on escalated files (compliance incidentes, alerts, new activities, personal notifications, …) 
  • Representing compliance in local governance committees.
  • Even though you will be based in Porto or Madrid, the assignment will include regular visits to Factoring entities in Porto and Madrid and to Compliance Territory teams in Lisbon and Madrid.
  • You will report to the Head of Compliance Factoring, based in Brussels.

  • The Corporate Trust Operations Officer is responsible for analysing and integrating missing data in the systems, performing the consequent controls according to the procedures in place and ensuring that SLAs are met
     
     

Your Main Activities Are

  • Process activities following the operational procedures in place, ensuring the SLA is met and perform the tasks according to work allocation

    • The Cash Account Manager is the privileged interlocutor of clients to follow-up their cash accounts. This follow-up is taking into consideration client needs to optimise their treasury and ensuring the correct processing of their cash transactions

Purpose and Scope of the role

The position is a Counterparty Risk Data Analyst role within RISK Market & Financial Institutions (“RISK MFI”).

RISK MFI provides the Senior Management of the Group, of the RISK Function and of Corporate & Institutional Banking (“CIB”) with full transparency and dynamic analysis and monitoring of market, counterparty, liquidity risks originated and managed by CIB GM and of credit risks on Financial Institutions to assist them in their risk decision making and monitoring.

The Counterparty Risk Data analyst belongs to the RISK MFI Digital team. The team oversees the development of tools to redefine and industrialise the many processes of the RISK Global Markets department. Projects have a strong focus on the use of new technologies to build tools that improve the risk management of the bank, with a strong focus on improving the user experience and making better use of the vast amount of available data.  

We are looking for a profile with some proven data analysis skills who has an appetite to simplify processes using technology, who can rapidly understand new market or counterparty risk concepts and metrics and provide quantitative or statistical analysis about a certain scope.

The role requires agility to onboard oneself onto new processes to support their evolution, and industrialisation.

The candidate needs to be comfortable working in “project mode” and regularly iterating improvements into the team’s assets.

Responsibilities of the Counterparty Risk Data Analyst role

  • Create dashboards and report and extracts and manipulate data into standardized or ad-hoc solutions.  
  • Support and monitor the usage of the data analysis tools provided to those clients.
  • Present results of own developments to the relevant clients.
  • Lead small projects to improve the efficiency and reliability of the clients’ processes.
  • Maintain simple and documented tools which can be easily handed over to other team members.

About the job

    • The Securities Operations Support Analyst works within the Securities Settlement Department and performs the operational and quality controls, reporting, finance related tasks and support to main processes which include pre & post settlement activities, clearing, custody, relevant legal documentation, transaction and event-related accounting for securities deemed in scope

Your Main Activities Are

    • Responsible to compile data using statistical tools to produce monthly reports on KPI’s, activity/volumes/general Department performance
    • Responsible to correctly control/analyse/evaluate documentation/content produced by the Department to verify the accuracy of the processes & compliance with internal procedures/directives/regulations
    • Perform the daily and monthly operational controls/justifications for Local Paris branch + Global relevant branches (securities and cash accounting)
    • Centralize the onboarding process and authorised signature management to all 3PAM teams
    • Act as point of contact for stakeholders, namely service beneficiaries, OPC/ORC, auditors on demand and generate reports to the Regulatory Entities
    • Contribute to the overall successful running of the settlement department
