About the job

  • The Account Receivable Officer is responsible for one or several parts of the client invoice process: from analysing and implementing the fee schedule in the invoicing tool, to producing and controlling the invoices in a dully and timely manner. The role can be in contact with the clients, Service Partners as Client Development teams, Risk Management teams, or with the Invoice Process Management team
     

Your Main Activities Are

  • Set up the Fee schedule in the invoicing tool: Analyse Client Fee Schedule to ensure that all items are billable and if not, liaise with Client Line teams and check how to implement a new information flow; Implement the fees schedule in the invoicing tool (new client, new services, pricing renegotiation)
  • Produce the invoices in a dully and timely manner: Issue accurate invoices and associated reports in line with the Bank procedures and the Client Service Level Agreement; Ensure deadlines are accomplished, follow-up of queries, setup creation and validation, invoice and reports sending. Keep the Team Leader informed of all delays or issues in the production; Ensure all the controls are documented and signed, including all 4 eyes checks for monthly tasks, setups and changes and inputs in Cross-Platform Application Compatibility Toolkit (xPACT); Provide the necessary support to Clients and Service Partners. Have an active role in delivering the Client Satisfaction and reducing the number of Client claims
  • Contribute to the Risk awareness and monitoring process: Ensure all the documents/answers to the Control teams are provided in the respective deadlines; Guarantee incidents are logged within the deadline defined, after detection. Follow-up of the incidents on time; Help preparing internal and external audit files
  • Contribute to the efficiency of the team: Manage generic email box and phones; Share knowledge with the other team members and help the team whenever necessary; Support the projects impacting the team by contributing to the impact analysis, delivering on time and accurately the documentation/files requested; Propose/create innovative processes with practical application, that will improve the operational performance of our processes
     

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Management
  • Up to 4 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations or Accounting and Finance
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Tools, namely Excel and PowerPoint

About the job

In the context of new incoming regulations and CIB Management’s ambition for a strong governance & control framework, the position primarily focuses on the oversight of the Regulatory Risk but participation to other areas (Conduct or Operational Risk) may be also contemplated.

The primary responsibility of the GM RPC Officer focusing on regulatory risks is to establish, deploy and run the Governance & Control Frameworks specifically called by any regulation impacting Global Markets Front-Office or required by the Bank’s supervisors.

Your Main Activities Are

This position will have a specific focus on US regulatory-change workflow (RICM process). The RPC officer will be in charge of the continuing improving the recent implemented governance ensuring full adherence of Global Markets to all applicable regulation and responsible to deploy the relevant oversight in term of Risk Identification & Assessment, Control framework, Policies & Procedures, Training & Awareness.

  • Coordinating all committees that ensure continuous adherence to the laws and notably in charge of reviewing regulatory-related control results and performance indicators, ensuring escalation of potential breaches, following-up of required remedial actions and   analyzing impact of change of the regulation
  • Participating to the design of any regulatory-related 1st level controls plan
  • Interacting with all relevant partners & functions to identify potential area of concern and reinforce the Bank’s setup by designing ad-hoc remediation plans or implementing IG / Supervisor recommendations having a specific regulatory focus
  • Promoting awareness of laws applicable to GM Front-Officers
  • Supporting the Business in mandatory certification programs
  • Acting as a Single Point of Contact within GM RPC for all regulatory topics to be addressed as part of the BAU team’s mandate
  • Ensuring record-keeping and audit trail of all decisions and supporting documentation in relation to the regulatory governances
  • Coordinating any Group or CIB Regulatory initiative impacting GM incl. the cascading of relevant policies

SPOC for US Regulatory‑Change Workflow (RICM Process):

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all US regulatory changes received through the Regulatory Impact Change Management (RICM) platform
  • Receive, classify and route each change to the appropriate GM stakeholder
  • Lead the impact‑analysis, gap‑assessment and escalation process, feeding results into GM risk‑management, remediation‑plan and senior‑management reporting
  • Monitor new US regulatory developments and enforcement actions; ensure timely creation, implementation and robustness review of action plans or SIAPs
  • Coordinate with regional partners to assess any required cross‑border support

Committee / Governance Management – Swap‑Dealer Focus:

  • Support the US‑based Swap Dealer Regulations Committee
  • Organize quarterly and ad‑hoc committee meetings, prepare agendas, circulate minutes and track action items to closure
  • Assist in the design and delivery of training & awareness programs for Swap‑Dealer Authorized Persons (APs)
  • Contribute to the Risk & Control Self‑Assessment (RCSA) on swap‑dealer topics, ensuring documentation of controls, residual risk and remediation status

Trading‑Venue Governance:

  • Partner with senior resource (e.g., Greg Cordani) to replicate the EMEA trading‑venue governance model across the US and other jurisdictions
  • Provide oversight of venue‑specific policies, monitoring, and compliance reporting, ensuring alignment with global GM standards

Regulatory‑Controls Escalations:

  • Act as the escalation point for complex regulatory‑control issues raised by ITO‑T&PC, Compliance or Front‑Office teams
  • Manage 15a‑6 US‑visit escalations when staff contest a breach assigned by Compliance; document the dispute, analyse grey‑areas and recommend policy updates
  • Maintain a comprehensive record‑keeping and audit‑trail of all escalated cases, decisions and supporting documentation

 Profile and Skills to Success

  • 2 to 5 year-experience in a similar control function (Consultant, Audit, Risk, Operational Control, Compliance, or banking industry) or another risk-focused team
  • Previous position in a regulatory project implementation team or regulation-dedicated control team would be a significant asset
  • Good understanding of Global Markets and familiarity with US regulatory regimes
  • Working experience abroad would be appreciated to interact with other regions
  • Working hours: Core European hours with required overlap to US business hours for committee work and urgent regulatory updates
  • Good awareness of fundamental risk concepts
  • High ethical standards
  • Tact and ability to interact with partners, functions, and Management
  • Ability to work as part of a team will also be expected to prove autonomy, determination, capacity, and initiative to achieve objectives set by Management

About the Team 

Global Markets Regulatory Permanent Control is part of the Chief Conduct & Control Office and operates in all regions with the primary objective of strengthening the front to end internal control set up for GM, designing the operational risk cartography and driving the operational risk regulatory capital.

The department is organized around 3 streams: Operational Risk Practice: contribute to protect the business (P&L, reputation); Regulatory Practice (RPC): support any regulatory requirement with a sustainable framework, in line with the dedicated Governance, Control Plan & Risk Assessment and Conduct Practice: assess and challenge the effectiveness of the Conduct control set-up as well as ensure a full convergence between Conduct Risk Identification (CRI), Risk and Control Self-Assessment – RCSA).

Na prática, o teu dia-a-dia

 

A tua missão será realizar e gerir as operações diárias e controlos da atividade de Crédito de stock e wholesale, de acordo com as normas de risco dos países onde prestamos serviço e as diretrizes estabelecidas pelo manager, a fim de atingir os objetivos e prestar um serviço de qualidade aos nossos clientes. 

Irás igualmente acompanhar projetos relacionados com o crédito de stock operacional no ISF e nos projetos dos nossos clientes.

Destacamos as principais responsabilidades: 

  • Ativar linhas de crédito no aplicativo, dependendo do que foi decidido em comité entre o Risco e a área Comercial de cada país.
  • Garantir a atividade diária de gestão de linhas (contratos, registos, cancelamentos, bloqueios, modificações e set-ups, pagamentos em excesso, reembolso e em dívida) e de gestão de incidentes.
  • Gerir a faturação em todas as diferentes linhas de crédito e atualização de reembolsos no iSF.
  • Garantir as atividades estratégicas de Stock Finance (crédito stock e wholesale) dos países de PF, para absorção dos picos de atividade.
  • Controlar diariamente a prestação de serviço aos parceiros, tendo por base o suporte especializado e industrialização de processos.
  • Controlar, monitorizar, enviar e arquivar a documentação dos veículos que está depositada no SET.
  • Elaborar relatórios mensais de fecho, aproveitando a solução PowerBI existente. 
  • Realizar as ações de otimização planeadas e respetivos testes ao nível operacional do aplicativo iSF.
  • Participar em reuniões de projeto com outras áreas ou de novos projetos dos clientes.
  • Solicitar os desenvolvimentos necessários do aplicativo iSF para a correta gestão da atividade.
  • Cumprir os elevados padrões de qualidade e rigor dos serviços/processos, assim como os SLAs definidos com os clientes.
  • Participar na harmonização de processos entre as subsidiárias do iSF, nomeadamente nos processos de revisão contínua, automatização e industrialização.
  • Elaborar controles de conformidade: cálculo de encargos financeiros, informações bancárias, garantias e monitorização dos créditos vencidos.

  • BNP Paribas Securities Services is the bank for financial institutions, handling operational transactions linked to their securities accounts.   • ITO Department of CIB Global Market deals with documentation and operational management of securities issues by BNP Paribas Issuance BV, dedicated to CIB GM and supporting sales teams located mainly in Europe. The documentation mandate consists mainly of the final terms and supporting documents, which will be drafted according to templates issued by LEGAL. Issuance Operations consist of pre-trade tasks (ISIN code activation, data reconciliation, agent’s information)

Your Main Activities Are

  • Prepare documentation of issues on underlying equities, indices, BNPP proprietary indices, commodities, currencies, and ETF. The documentation consists mainly of the final terms and supporting documents which will be drafted according to templates issued by LEGAL
  • Review and validate certain documents automatically generated by Front Office systems (Universal drafter, FISH, TEP Studio)
  • Ensuring the consistency of programme documentation with the terms and templates drafted by LEGAL
  • Take over the formalities for depositing documentation of structured securities issues with market authorities, financial agents, quotation exchanges or clearing systems
  • Ensure administrative formalities (e.g. drafting notices) in connection with events affecting securities issues (issuing call events, corporate actions, increases, adjustments, etc.), in accordance with the procedures and templates established by LEGAL; Adjust internal databases following these events

About the Team 

  • Global Markets Regulatory Permanent Control is part of the Chief Conduct and Control Office and also operates in all regions with the primary objective of strengthening the front to end internal control set up for GM, designing the operational risk cartography and driving the operational risk regulatory capital.

The department is organized around 3 streams:

– Operational Risk Practice: contribute to protect the business, such as Profit and Loss (P&L) and reputation

  • The KYC Data Officer’s primary focus is to gather client data and documentation to construct a KYC (Know Your Client) file to support the due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients

  • Change Management – Documentation and Training: Support the documentation of changes and design/deliver user training sessions for FS teams on new functionalities; Update operating procedures and credit policies to reflect new workflows and system functionalities; Collaborate with the Business-As-Usual (BAU) teams to develop and implement processes and procedures for the ongoing use and maintenance of the FS tools
  • Adapt/enhance existing reporting for new requirements using data visualization tools; Facilitate adoption, gathering feedback and recommending continuous improvement actions
  • Post-Go-Live Support: Assist in gathering post-live issues and improvements identified by FS teams, resolving any issues or defects that may arise

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Proven experience with financing solution platforms (for example, credit workflow, loan monitoring tools)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Pack (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
  • Coding skills (VBA, SQL, PowerBI)
