About the Job

  • The Passive Currency Overlay (PCO) team’s activity consists of: production Management on behalf of our existing clients: Market data reception and analysis, hedge calculations and FOREX executions
  • Management of the onboarding process for both new prospects and existing clients, new and additional businesses
  • Constant enhancement and upgrade of the production process through periodic launches of new functionalities

Your Main Activities Are

  • Ensure delivery of the daily production; control, analyze and validate data received from client’s provider
  • Launch and monitor the automated order generation process in application of the client hedging guideline and investigate in case of warning
  • Follow-up on order transmission with the appropriate desk
  • Launch and deliver client reporting
  • Monitor and maintain the PCO risk control plan
  • Control client credit risk limit and liaise with client management to request limit increase if necessary
  • Ensure all control framework is done in a timely manner

Profile and Skills to Success

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry and/or financial market
  • Master’s degree from an Engineering school or University (preferably with a Market Finance specialization)
  • Interest and knowledge of financial markets (Money Market, FOREX, conformity, portfolio management)
  • Fluency in English
  • Rigorous, dynamic and motivated with good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and have good writing skills
  • Good knowledge of Excel, VBA/programming, Bloomberg

The Macro Quant & Derivatives Strategy team is part of Markets 360 and is responsible for quantitative and evidence-based research on macroeconomics and major asset classes. The team is composed of macro quant analysts and strategists who collaborate to develop and maintain models and processes that can be used to generate trade ideas and market analysis for inclusion in thematic publications. The team is client facing and works closely with sales, trading, structuring and other quantitative research teams within BNP Paribas Global Markets. 

The QIS Transversal team is part of EMEA Structuring team responsible for the creation and maintenance of indices used for AMC and structured products. The team works closely with all stakeholders internally (Sales, Trading, Legal and Technology) as well as clients to ensure a smooth running of our QIS Index business.

Role Responsabilities 

  • Develop leading quant indicators for asset prices and economic variables. 
  • This entails:Reviewing academic research to identify new modelling approaches
  • Maintaining existing libraries and developing new modules
  • Running data analytics
  • Exploring use of new data science techniques 
  • Apply mathematical and statistical techniques to economic and financial market data, producing pattern recognition, relationship identification and time-series model projections

  • The Corporate Credit Analyst trainee’s main mission is to produce high-quality Credit Proposals in a timely and efficient manner to enable BNP Paribas Corporate Coverage to do new business with clients, such as gaining credit committee approval for new business, manage exposure to credit risk and meet its regulatory requirements through Annual Reviews

About the job

  • Ensure the efficient, accurate, and controlled management of securities master data activities by leading daily operations, supervising controls, and supporting team performance. Act as a key point of coordination across stakeholders, managing priorities, escalations, and continuous improvement to deliver high-quality service to internal clients and management

Your Main Activities Are

  • Supervise and supporting the team and activity
  • Ensure the proper tasks allocation between team members
  • Ensure controls under Team Leader responsibility are duly performed
  • Supervise the controls of the activity are done and evidence is recorded

Na prática, o teu dia-a-dia

Integrado/a na Direção Automóvel, serás responsável por promover o desenvolvimento da atividade automóvel, garantindo uma gestão adequada do risco associado aos ativos financiados e contribuindo para o desenvolvimento sustentável da oferta comercial.

Terás a teu cargo a definição e monitorização dos valores residuais de veículos usados, assegurando um posicionamento competitivo e alinhado com o apetite de risco da empresa. Serás também responsável pelo acompanhamento da carteira exposta a risco de valor residual, contribuindo para a definição de estratégias de mitigação e monitorização do risco.

Terás como principais responsabilidades:

  • Gerir os valores residuais, propondo grelhas de valores para validação e definindo a política local de Asset Management;
  • Validar derrogações à política de local de Asset Management, bem como de todos os contratos com valores residuais que ultrapassem limites definidos.
  • Recolher, analisar e reportar informação em coordenação com equipas locais e centrais
  • Monitorizar a exposição da carteira ao risco de valor residual, realizando análises periódicas, stress tests e exercícios de mark-to-market.
  • Realizar os Asset Management Committees e contribuir para a definição de medidas corretivas sempre que necessário.
  • Contribuir para a criação e securização da oferta comercial automóvel, apoiando o desenvolvimento de campanhas, produtos e parcerias com OEM’s e dealers.
  • Assegurar a interação com diferentes áreas da empresa e parceiros externs, produzindo reports e análises de suporte à decisão.Acompanhar tendências do mercado automóvel e evolução do mercado de usados, garantindo a adequação da estratégia de valores residuais.

About the job

  • In a context of strong growth projected for 2030, Nickel aims to become one of the leading neobanks in Europe, particularly in Portugal where Nickel already has the largest distribution network of the country
  • To support this growth, Nickel is looking for its new Head of Marketing and Communication to design and implement an efficient communication and marketing strategy in order to develop the notoriety and grow the customer base of Nickel in Portugal

Your Main Activities Are

  • Define and execute the marketing Plan, Strategy and projections for Nickel Portugal
