About the job
- The CTM Capital Markets Officer is involved in setting up and monitoring financing operations and is in direct contact with the Front Office on all matters relating to deals, in particular to ensure the feasibility of their “operability”. The officer is also in charge of the accurate translation of the operations in the Bank’s systems and official reports until the reimbursements of the deals. The Middle Officer for “Structured Credit” Products ensures that the rules applicable to BNP Paribas (accounting, regulatory, legal, ALM – Asset Liability Management, etc.) are complied with in each transaction
Your Main Activities Are
- To monitor the portfolio, the Middle Officer will interact with a large number of stakeholders: clients for bilateral deals, lawyers, Back Office, Information Technology Operations (ITO 3 C), Risk, Finance, Tax, Legal Affairs, Asset‑Liability Management (ALM). Liaise with the Front Office upstream of the signatures of the documentation; assistance during the negotiation phase on technical and legal points of the Documentation
- Involvement in the verification chain of Know‑Your‑Customer (KYC) and Customer Bases
- Understanding of the specificities of deals; if necessary, search for solutions or agreements with Finance, Tax Affairs, Legal Affairs.
- Research in the Financing Contracts relevant data to send instructions to the Back Office for encoding it in the Bank’s systems (Risk and Accounting) and its materialization in files (Excel; Accounting Financial Information Form)
- Verification that the Conditions Precedents (CPs) or the first drawdowns are met, particularly on bilateral deals
- Follow-up of drawdowns and renewal of facilities, early repayments, follow-up of insurance and sub-participations. Follow-up of events throughout the lifecycle (amendments; changes of Shareholders; Acquisitions)
- Application of Booking Rules, Sharing Charters and Transfer Pricing Agreement (TPA)
- Study and analysis of up-front commissions in order to comply with Accounting Standards before accounting instructions
- Analysis of the Guarantees Received in connection with the Business and with the assistance of the Internal Lawyers. Instructions for recordings then follow-up of events and of the obligations of Borrowers to Lenders (static data) for recording in the Covenant Manager tool. Materialization of data and controls in various systems (Excel; Financial Instruments & Securities Accounting Tool, MyC, LIQ)
- Monitoring of profitability and in particular of Liquidity Costs; link with the ALM
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Management
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial Operations

- Within Portugal International Markets Hub (PIMH) Operational and Permanent Controls (OPC) Corporate team, the Analyst will provide essential support to enhance the monitoring of Operational Risk Management Framework and actively participate in the OPC Community to enhance operational practices and efficiency
Your Main Activities Are
- Implementation of the Group policy related to Operational Permanent Control Framework within the Business line Wealth Management
- In the hierarchical line to Head of PIMH OPC, in hierarchical line to Head of Wealth Management (WM) PIMH and in functional line to Chief Conduct and Control Officer (CCCO), located in Paris, the Senior OPC Corporate Officer is responsible to ensure the efficacy of the First Line of Defence (1LoD), which span of responsibilities covers: Permanent Control set-up and maintenance; Management of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) related Processes; Dynamic management of the Operational Risk Management; Management support and governance; Follow-up of findings, recommendations and Métier-to-implement Permanent Control actions; Coordinate requests and/or actions raised by the Group, Functions, Internal Governance (IG), among others; Awareness, training and advisory
- Update the 1LoD Control Plan, in line with the Group’s and/ or the Second Line of Defence (2LoD) Generic Control Plans
- Coordinate the roll-out of the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process, including the risk identification and the design of controls (Key Surveillance Points (KSPs))
- Contribute to the Procedures Management, review/update the Operations-sponsored policies and procedures, in adequacy with the Group’s norms/requirements, the Métier’s guidelines and/or applicable regulations; and coordinate/manage “Procedures committees” and community
- Coordinate the delivery/disseminate the 1LoD Control Plan, Métier’s policies, procedures and KSPs to the OPC Community
- Propose and monitor mitigation actions relating to gaps/anomalies highlighted by performed controls
- Ensure periodic and ad-hoc reporting to the appropriate level of management as well as to 2LoD
- Collect and analyse the Operational Risk incidents (Historical Incidents (IH))

- As a Data Engineer, you will join the RISK Corporate and Institutional Banking Business Services (CPBS) Analytics Platform, created in 2021, and part of the RISK CPBS Head Office teams. To support both RISK and the Business in monitoring the credit risk detection process, the Analytics Platform delivers services within the DERIK tool through a set of dynamic dashboards. These dashboards are mainly designed to facilitate the monitoring of alerts raised by detection tools, as well as the monitoring of portfolio quality. The most advanced technologies and methodologies available (Dataiku, Tableau) are leveraged to deliver high value‑added services while maintaining an excellent level of quality
Your Main Activities Are
- Design and optimisation of the DERIK CPBS tool’s data model
- Tech lead on the DATAIKU tool (support, expertise, and model)
- Write the technical documentation (Architecture, Specifications, Procedures)
- Supervision of the follow up of the processing chains and the resolution of the incidents
- Participation in assessing the quality of the data and the provided services
- Attend the workshops for the functional integration of the data/evolution
