- The position is a Risk Analyst role within RISK Market and Financial Institutions (RISK MFI) dedicated to apprehending the general and specific risks related to Hedge Funds and Higher Risk Funds exposures
- RISK MFI provides the Senior Management of the Group, of the RISK Function and of Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) with full transparency and dynamic analysis and monitoring of market, counterparty, liquidity risks originated and managed by CIB Global Markets and Securities and Services and of credit risks on Financial Institutions to assist them in their risk decision making and monitoring
- The position is part of the Hedge Fund team of RISK MFI who is responsible for managing the credit decision process and steering the counterparty and credit risks on Hedge Funds (HFs) and Risky Funds (RFs) clients. The HF Team is the main point of contact for the Business and other RISK teams on both credit and counterparty risks in relation to HFs and RFs
- We are looking for a motivated junior analyst with a strong analytical background and a passion for financial markets. While prior experience in hedge funds is not required, we are seeking someone who has developed a solid understanding of financial risk concepts and is eager to learn about hedge fund operations and investment strategies

Your Main Activities Are
- Apprehend general and specific risks related to Hedge Funds and Higher Risk Funds exposures, notably related to the steering of in-depth quantitative analysis of the portfolio, design and review of relevant stress tests, margining approaches, or other key credit terms
- Develop and maintain temporarily specific ad-hoc (market news, specific monitoring, …) or periodic key reporting enhancing the monitoring of counterparty and credit risks for Hedge Funds and Higher Risk Funds, notably around margining methodologies and stress testing
- Coordination of some regulatory requests and reports related to Hedge Funds exposures, notably on Prime Brokerage
- Support the credit officers through the review of portfolio, run of stress test for Fund of Hedge Funds activity and new trade request
- Ensure adequacy of our analysis and monitoring tools, fostering for efficiency of our processes
- Work with Coverage of Financial Institutions and Business Lines to reach risk monitoring objectives
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master’s Degree in Finance / Applied Mathematics / Science / Engineering or related
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail in assessing financial data and market dynamics
- Proficiency in Python (or equivalent object-oriented programming language)—previous experience is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is equally valuable
- Passion for financial markets, with an interest in quantitative analysis and market behavior

- The Funds Execution Team ensures the execution of all orders on investment funds, in the Wealth Management (WM) business line. - The Know Your Client Officer mission is to ensure that all Know Your Client Officer (KYC) files are in compliance with the applicable policies and procedures and accurately coded in the various systems of the bank. - The Capital Market Profit and Loss Reconciliation Controller mission is to ensure the reliability, sincerity, integrity and the exhaustiveness of the accounting delivered by the upstreams chains (Front to Back) and organisation (Operations – Back and Middle Office)
- This position works within the BNP Paribas’ Global Equity Capital Derivatives (GECD) business that encompasses research, structuring, trading and sales of equity, index and fund derivatives
Your Main Activities Are
- Ensure the accounting control level one on a dedicated perimeter of products within your team and ensure proper justification on all accounting control, among which is reconciliation with operations data inventory and reconciliation of sensitives accounts
- Analyse breaks and operational or financial risks, as well as monitoring and follow-up of discrepancies resolution and manage escalations to the management if needed
- Ensure a good collaboration with all partners and animate the relation by anticipating any know issues (pre-closing), as well as ensure fluid communication during closing period and formalize issues and present them in order to avoid them next time (post-closing)
