Become our new Head of Functions (All Genders) based in Oporto
Be part of our dynamic Management Structure with direct report to the CEO and part of the Senior Management of the Company, the Head of Functions leadership role also entails being ultimately responsible for all day-to-day management decisions and for implementing their perimeter long and short-term plans fostering synergies and alignment between all areas under management.
YOUR FUTURE MISSION
- Lead the development and execution of the perimeter long-term strategy with a view to create stakeholder value;
- Be driver for the successful business plan execution as defined;
- Ensure all daily management decisions and short and/or long-term plans in line with company strategy and guidelines;
- Direct and coordinate activities of businesses and/or departments;
- Review financial and operational flows and assess areas improvement;
- Responsible for the P&L management;
- Monitor activities under management to ensure efficiency and effectiveness;
- Manage direct staff and assigning specific duties;
- Monitor policies and procedures compliance and the Service Delivery developing targets and standard ensuring that governance is managed in order to meet these standards;
- Provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits;
- Share Corporate Values;
- Promote communication within the team(s).
READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT? HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Advanced degree, ideally a Master or MBA, with proven Management experience in complex and fast paced companies;
- Strong track record of effectively leading regionally and/or nationally based organization – activities and staff;
- Previous experience in developing, implementing and managing strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth;
- Proven experience in managing Business Units in similar Group Entities will be a plus;
- Minimum C2 level in French & English is mandatory, other languages are also a strong advantage – Portuguese is highly valued;
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate stakeholders in a cross functional environment;
