About the job

  • This position allows you to develop strong experience in managing complex projects and to gain a transversal view of market, counterparty, and liquidity risk management activities linked to investment banking operations

Your Main Activities Are

  • Work on a scope with strong business and regulatory stakes for the Group’s Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) activities, and on transformational projects requiring coordination between numerous stakeholders (RISK, CIB, FINANCE, among others) with a high level of technical and functional complexity
  • Lead execution and coordinate all contributors across all phases of the project within an Agile@Scale operating model
  • Frame the project, define objectives, estimate deliverables, plan execution, track progress, resource usage, and budget consumption
  • Identify and report risks, issues, and difficulties encountered
  • Lead project governance forums and prepare steering committees
  • Support sponsors and senior management in decision‑making by presenting clear and precise summaries of available options
  • Manage priority conflicts and differing viewpoints between contributors from various entities to keep the project moving forward under optimal conditions and within deadlines
  • Actively contribute to achieving RISK’s strategic objectives and its transformation agenda
  • Participate in and contribute to the various project portfolio monitoring forums
  • Comply with and adopt the governance framework in place within RISK
  • Close the project once completed

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Finance / Project Management or related
  • At least 7 years of experience in Project Management / Risk or similar
  • Advanced level of English, both written and oral
  • Knowledge in

About the Team

  • Located within the RISK function and the RISK Global Services department, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) team of the MCL (Market, Counterparty and Liquidity risks) Cluster brings together two Centers of Expertise (CoEs): the “Performance and Monitoring” CoE and the “Strategic and Transversal Services” CoE
  • The mission of the team consists of
  • Supporting the Tribes and CoEs of the Market Counterparty and Liquidity (MCL) Cluster in executing and steering their activities
  • Ensuring that the cluster’s activities align with the group’s strategy and priorities
  • Managing the budget process and monitoring the operational performance of the MCL Cluster
  • Managing strategic programs and projects and monitoring the cluster’s project portfolio
  • The position will be attached to the “Strategic and Transversal Services” CoE, whose mandate is to lead the cluster’s programs and strategic initiatives
