About the job
  • The Operations Process Quality Expert will define Operational impacts due to Markets evolutions (including utilities), New Regulations, Business Changes and Clients needs; operation process design and continuous enhancement and daily production monitoring
Your Main Activities Are
  • Participate along with the Global manager to the industry committees and associations related to various products such as Banque de France, AFME, ISLA, ICMA, GFXD, Swift, CLS for example. Contribution & implementation of best practices. Define impacts on Ops set-up & processes of new regulations
  • Monitor Markets Utilities evolutions & defining impacts on Ops set-up & processes (various industry initiatives aiming at better market functioning)
  • Participate to client service reviews related to Ops areas and define client needs on Ops set-up & processes. Being part of any new project involving new tech, watch to catch on any competitive intelligence tools
  • Define and maintain Ops processes and related procedures, Ops BCP, ERS and processes split between various production centers. Define and maintain Ops GCP
  • Monitor, improve & reduce manual processes (continuous efficiency review including digital initiatives)
  • Define, harmonize across production center and improve Ops activity dashboards
  • Global KPI monitoring and risk identification in coordination with locations, business & other potential stakeholders
  • Structure global Ops daily calls (all Ops teams) covering main Ops risk topics, main productions highlights, clients issues & complaints, complex or specific events. Specific committee with the business and participate to various business committee (optimize alignment)
  • Coordinate Operational topics with Finance, OPC ,CRC, Risk, legal, XVA, Regulatory teams
  • Monitor provisions and P&L impact. Manage major incidents having impacts on the overall process architecture and define / monitor related action plans and coordinate Ops contributions to Crisis Committees
Profile and Skills to Success
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
  • Up to seven years of professional experience in Banking and Financial Operations
  • Fluency in English (oral and written)
  • Knowledge in French
  • Attention to detail

  • Middle Office Operations Knowledge
