- Central and transversal role in the development, validation and implementation of new activities as well as delivering transversal projects, across Global Markets & ALM-T.
- Definition of End to End workflows for new activities & structured transactions:
- The end to end solutions you define will directly enable the Business to develop new markets in line with the Bank strategy as well as propose complex structured transaction to the Bank’s clients.
- You will interact with senior stakeholders in Front Office, IT, Operations, Finance and Group functions (Compliance, Risk, legal, tax…) to support the bank’s business development plan
- Your extensive knowledge of CIB activities and end to end processes will allow you to define, challenge and validate solutions on behalf of IT and Operations.
- As part of your solution definition, you will ensure that the processes developed are in line with the ITO strategy and do not generate unwanted increased operational risk
- Representing ITO & Finance at the TAC/NAC forums for Global Markets & ALM-T
- You will be required to document and present your impact analysis on ITO & Finance of the business proposal during the TAC NAC validation committees
- As part of your analysis you will be deep dive in the business proposal and identify any areas of impact for the functions you represent: IT, Operations & Finance.
- You will collaborate closely with the impacted teams to define adequate solutions, a path to implementation and ensure senior management buy-in.
- Running transversal project across various Business lines and / or Front to Finance
- You will be asked to scope and frame the project, identify end to end impacts and define target solutions across impacted Functions (FO, Operations, IT, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Tax, etc…) as well as obtain pricing of the solutions to allow senor business members to make educated decisions on the contemplated activity. Should the go be given to move to implementation phase as part of your project governance, You will be in charge of running such implementation phase up to the go live and transition to BAU
- Working as part of the team in Lisbon with strong working relationships with teams in London & Paris as well as with teams located in Asia and America. Operating in a team with a dual reporting line to Front Office and to IT & Operations

- Representing ITO & Finance at TAC/NAC forums
- Covering a limited number of GM/ALM-T Business Lines and Activities
- Good understanding of the operational environment, organization and processes of the covered GBLs
- Benefits from coaching by a senior or experienced team members to analyze more complex NACs and identify solutions
- Solution provider with the ability to challenge proposals and ability to lead the design & documentation of appropriate solutions
- Lead end-to-end new projects:
- Lead selected E2E projects, while exhibiting sound project management fundamentals and benefiting from Experienced/Senior DRIVE Team members’ coaching, as well as show ability to be hands-on to ensure the problem statement is accurate and understood and the solutions to address it are fit for purpose
- Leadership / Accountability
- Influence stakeholders (incl. Trading, Structuring, Risk & other functions) to meet Business and ITO objectives
- Actively contribute to DRIVE Community:
- Participate in the DRIVE NBS and DRIVE community: knowledge sharing, proposals for improvement, strengthening of the relationship within DRIVE Team across locations and mandates
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master’s Degree in Finance / Economics or similar fields
- Between 4 and 7 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in English both oral and written (mandatory)
- Knowlege in:

About the Team
- Within the COO office of CIB Global Markets, DRIVE Team is to design and deliver End to end solutions to Global Markets and ALMT. The team consists of profiles from various backgrounds with strong expertise in GM products, Front to Finance processes and project management, as well as an ability to analyse complex solutions and provide solutions from short timeframes to longer term
- The team has 2 core mandates :
- 1/ Representing IT, Operations and Finance in TAC / NAC committees (Transaction Approval Committee / New Activity Committee):
- 2/ Perform End to End projects (study and implementation)
