About the job
Your day-to-day activity?
As part RISK Operational Risk Management (RISK ORM) department of Group BNP Paribas (BNPP) and acting as the Second Line of Defense (2LoD), the RISK ORM Post Remediation team, for the perimeter under RISK ORM supervision, is responsible for the implementation over time and in a consistent manner, between the BNPP various entities, of remedial actions, following the recommendations issued by the European Central Bank (ECB) within the BNPP in terms of operational risk management.
Your Main Activities Are
RISK ORM Post Remediation team has the following main missions:
· Define the operation risk management actions to be carried out by each BNPP entity, as well as the associated deliverables, to guarantee over time the sustainability of the remediation actions and to ensure continued compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices and the Financial Supervisors Authorities’ expectations.
· Ensure consistency of Post remediation actions between the various entities.
Report on the sustainability over time of the actions following the various OSI missions.
Profile and Skills to Success
You have a professional experience of minimum 5 years in operational risk domain, ideally in the banking sector or as a consultant (advisory mission).
Your skills on project management and follow-up are recognized, including the use of the communication tools (Teams, SharePoint, …).
With good interpersonal skills, you are recognized as being a good communicator. Besides, your rigor and organizational skills will allow you to carry out your mission.
Your flexibility combined with your sense of coordination, fast adaptability to change and client focus will be all assets for success in this position.
And after?
Integrated within the RISK ORM Iberian Centre of Excellence, this position contributes to the reinforcement of the BNPP 2LoD set-up. You will have a complete and operational vision of the processes under RISK ORM supervision.
Required skills and competences:
Risk analysis, risk monitoring and risk decision
Understanding of risks and risks awareness, including anticipation
Analytical skills, rigor, reactivity, and capacity to deliver
Ability to define and implement key performance indicators
Ability to understand, explain and conduct changes
Communication skills, both oral and in writing, with ideally previous experience on creation and animation of communities
Advanced level of English, both oral and in writing
Tools:
Risk analysis, risk monitoring and risk decision
Internal Control tools
Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Project Management tools
