For many years, BNP Paribas has been contributing to medical research through the Institut Pasteur, a private not-for-profit foundation whose fundamental aim is to combat highly infectious diseases by means of research, education and public health.
In Portugal, our contribution is allocated to a research project on the mechanism of antibiotics resistance of the Helicobacter pylori bacteria, developed by the Instituto Nacional de Saúde Dr. Ricardo Jorge.
Christmas Gifts for Medical Research
BNP Paribas Corporate & Investment Banking also contributes to medical research by giving away part of the budget it allocates for corporate Christmas gifts for its clients. The bank pursues this policy in 20 countries all over the world.
